Gacha run #2 Decided to split it up between Sleepy and CBD. looking for acc equips which both can provide. Didn't get so lucky however. best spoils was the +4 STR Maple leaf and white raccoon mask.
Did some questing for a Brown Bamboo Hat & Raggedy Cape. Bought a bathrobe & shoes for the speed boost. 100% scrolled them. Work gloves are clean, will start attempting to make a good glove when I begin farming 60% glove ATT's. Finally hit level 35, can now equip my Maple Claw. Farming Tobi's at Chronos - found two sets so far!
Since the server was horribly unplayable today, I've decided to create my Ironman character haha, since it's still somewhat playable with the server frothing at its mouth. IGN: Arden Job: HP Warrior Yep it'll be me, a dude, playing a female character, just to make things crystal clear haha - basically wanted the name Ardent but that was taken, so I went with Arden instead and chose to play a female character to fit the name better. I won't be the most active due to real life commitments, but can't wait to suffer through the first 41 levels (without max Power Guard) before bossing afterwards, with other Ironmen, cheers
Progress #5 Making good progress, I did 50 - 55 on PAC Pinkys (GS1) then headed to my beloved FoG (Forest of Golem) and got to 60. I will probably stay there until level 70 since the drops are amazing. I haven't managed to get a godly Soul Rohen (2h sword) yet but I'm sure time will tell. Best loot so far have been - 85 atk 1h axe, - 4 Str 6 Acc Bottom, - 6 Str helm - 6 str Gloves Won't scroll anything until the later levels however.
Disclaimer: I don't post in forums often, so you will not hear much about me. I thought however to post something in this thread. About me: I am a new player, and Samadhi is the very first char I created on this server (if we exclude a lvl 12 char that I accidentally overleveled before 1st job, that I will either delete or keep as a mule I guess ._.'). Looking for guides and stuff I stumbled on Chalak post. I loved the idea, so I contacted him and ended up jumping on the ironman wagon. What makes “ironmening” special to me, is that it looks very similar to the way I used to play this game back in 2005. So this is a basically a way to spice up my trip into nostalgia. My main goal is to keep this experience always interesting and refreshing. Let's say that I'm being serious about not being serious (following the optimal / competitive route). As you can understand, I am far from being a competitive player and my goals are purely “sentimental”, but I really look forward to see what other Ironmen will be able to accomplish! Personal gameplay-affecting rule: - no Safety Charms (although as warrior I don't think I'll die so much) Nostalgic for-fun rule: - No cosmetics on equips (transp hat as only exception). Have you seen my ragged cape? So, my Page is currently level 45 thanks to quests and grind. My route has been very similar to the others so far: What I did so far: - Minimal cosmetics (hair/color change, transp hat) - Bought Pet & Pet equips - Started saving NX for late gacha and ap resets - Dropped a decent Maple Weapon - Started farming useful scrolls Moderately ambitious plans for the future: - Explore the Maple World and get it know inside out - Scrolling myself a good lvl 64 Maple Weapon - Scrolling myself a good late game overall or top+bottom - Gaching a Crushed Skull – bam! Just finished the Jane challenge questline after some collecting... And she rewarded me with gfa 10% T_t ... However shortly after my scroll had failed on my gloves a random player pops up and fames me o_o. Got my mood straight back up! Thanks Shona!
Progress Update: Got my character smexy, landed a shoe speed 60 on my future speed shoes, made a shitty cape to help with the job advancement, and advanced to Page!

Loving the concept! It would definitely give the nostalgic feeling I had when I first made my GMS character. Spoiler: Back in 2006... I always had the urge to make an islander but was afraid that I would lose the motivation due to the lack of various training spots and monsters... A lot of people are joining daily, and we only have 1 spearman and 1 archer (iirc). So those would be a good and fun choice! I would say Spearman because the gear hunting for a warrior has been really fun for me personally so far as a Page. Regardless though, I am sure you will enjoy the challenge!
