My first ever discussion thread so dont make fun. In all the games I've played, I've always spent many hours trying to find an official word/name for my character names. Much like collecting chairs, collecting nice usernames is a fun hobby for some. I was originally going to post on the latest achievement thread every time I landed a nice IGN, but I'd probably end up flooding it. So I made this thread. Im curious to see what kind of usernames you guys have gotten your hands on. The Ign don't have to be words, they can be anything from name of Pokemon to TV shows. If you have an IGN that has a story behind it I'd love to hear about it as well. Igns with i's instead of L's (ex. aicohol) will be heavily criticized.(jk) Igns with random numbers will also be criticized.(unless its 17) (also jk) Everyone has their own opinions on what is original and unique. Kivin (although stolen by @Nicko after requesting its deletion so I could remake) - my forum name! DearJamie - this is the name of a song by Hellogoodbye, and was introduced to me by someone in Royals. Her songs opened me up to lots of different artists, and this has become one of my more treasured IGNs after having made good memories on this character in the 2014 Halloween period last year JaseyRae - another name of a song, this time by All Time Low, and introduced by the same person. I think the name rolls off the tongue quite well and is quite catchy overall, so I love this IGN. Hiya - 'hi' was too short for me so I had a habit of saying hiya/heya to buddies online and that's where this IGN came from. This was just a troll character at first, but it has ended up becoming my bishop! Ikki - my first character and IGN on Royals; Ikki is the name of the main protagonist in the manga Air Gear - I thought the name was catchy and I really like the character Ikki in the manga a lot, which led me to use this IGN. Eien - means 'eternity' in Japanese; I just felt like it was a cool word. I also love 4 letter IGNs so this helped. Gamzadori - my favorite Korean cartoon character. I grew up reading about and loving this guy - he's literally a potato who wants to become a sweet potato. If interested, here's the theme song: Jjangu - the Korean name for the Japanese cartoon character, Shin-chan. I loved this manga/anime as well as a kid, and I decided to save this IGN for future use. Patbingsoo - means 'shaved ice' in Korean; made this during the summer Sano - name of the main character in Hana Kimi, one of my first mangas. As I explained I love 4 letter IGNs and I thought this sounded nice Chica - I know this can mean female, but the origin of this is the last name of my favorite author/artist, Umino Chica. This is actually her pen-name, a reduced version of 'umi no chikaku no yuuenchi', which means 'an amusement park near the sea' - her favorite place to be. Nakama - just to troll Sami and because I love One Piece! Chikaku - means 'next to' or 'nearby' in Japanese. Got the idea of Umino Chica again heh Fanfare - No idea where this came from Ramyun - my guilty late-night pleasure; although I rarely have it, ramyun is the Korean word for ramen, and I thought that it was a very Korean IGN to have Ttae - ttae actually means dead skin in Korean which sounds horrible, but the character design for Ttae was a bathhouse male - he was wearing a bathrobe, and had the green washcloth, which you often use in Korean bathhouses to scrub yourself (instead of using pumice) Tuesday (no longer mine ) November (no longer mine ) Laugh (no longer mine ) Kyouya - a random Japanese name Izuki - an IGN I thought of straight after making Ikki There are quite a few more IGNs that I own but those are all level 1s and I'm too tired to explain the origins behind the rest, hope this was enough
I definitely got the ign Dimitri legit! (Totally didn't have to delete some random player's character for that) Spoiler I happily stole Feathers from @Astarelix -Demi -Slither -Magcargo (coz it's clearly the best pokemon out there)
