Could you please move Grandma Benson to the FM? The fact that you can't farm the items needed for the quest (because they are One-of-a-kind) is a pain in the ass because everytime you get the 4 items you're forced to go aaaall the way back to Henesys. And let's be honest, from level 35+ nobody is at Henesys anymore. For example, I'm currently lvl 68 and I will stay in El Nath until 3rd job, leveling at Minor Zombies while I farm the golden teeth I need for my Zhelm... Everytime I get the 4 items I have to go from El Nath to Henesys to deliver them. Why not move Grandma Benson to the FM? That way islanders could also access it. Thank you very much!
Pie monsters are also spawning on Maple Island. The inhabitants however won't be able to exchange the items on the island since they chose to restrict themselves by not going to the main land. The rewards will only be available for people that have access to Grandma Benson in Henesys. Travelling from anywhere in the world to Henesys for 5 minutes every 6 hours doesn't seems like a major problem to me.
I'm a new player, I don't want to waste the little NX I have to buy 20 TP rocks just for this event. And even then, i'm not asking how easy is to get to Henesys. I'm asking why not make the NPC accessible from anywhere. Is there a reason why you don't want us to access it from the FM?
Because Grandma Benson has always been in Henesys. Why not then just put every NPC around the world in the FM just to make it easier for you to access? It's part of the game, it should take time. Things shouldn't be right in front of your face and easy to get to all the time.
I walked from dead mine and it took 3 min 20 sec, without Haste, without flash jump. Of course I used a return scroll to el nath, because that would be silly not to.
You don't have to use your NX to buy Tp rocks. You can buy them from people. And again, it doesn't take that long to go to a Town map. I honestly don't see why this issue should be catered to at all. You can skip boats almost to every continents.
Prob better for it to be in the fm, that said idc enough about Benson to want them to shift some of their efforts from the new source to moving her. Edit: nvm I agree it should take some effort. Leave it in heny.
If that's the reason I'll take it, although I don't agree with it. Yeah. Now walk from henesys to dead mine without a return to dead mine scroll and see if it takes 3 min 20 sec. And now do that 10 times. Right, much better. As a new player I definitely have 80 million on me, specially when I want to buy a zhelm. And again, i'm not sayin it's hard to get to a town in this server. (which it is, because there's no boat from Orbis to El Nath and there's no boat from El Nath to DM) I'm talking about having to do it 10 times to complete a quest. Like your post without giving a reason why.
Of course it's to make things easier. Why would I suggest it if it was to make things harder And I don't see how big of advantage would be to let us deliver the quest easily. You still have to find the mobs, you still have to find the items, you still have to be lucky and not get a pumpkin pie, and you still have a 6 hour cooldown.
Why do we have to cater the quest to make it even easier for you? Why does everything on the server need to always be made for the player? What's wrong with there being some difficulty or some level of challenge even if it's just walking a distance to get somewhere?
Considering that Maple Island had its own Witch Malady for the Halloween event catered specifically to islanders, it would be logical to have Grandma Benson available at Maple Island this season. The only people who would farm candies on Maple Island are islanders. In the same vein, the only people who would be able to kill Pie Monsters on Maple Island are islanders. I'm not an islander, but it would make sense to extend the same courtesy to islanders during Thanksgiving that you did during Halloween. I wouldn't mind having Grandma Benson in the FM, either. Having every NPC in FM would be dumb, yes, but I think there's nothing wrong with the FM just having Frederick, Scrooge, and whichever event NPC is active at the time. I think it's fine to make events more convenient for players. As long as we aren't, for example, turning Victoria Island inside-out, or something obviously stupid like that.
That took 9 minutes, and doing that once a day is far from what I find tough, if anything having to npc items when you are in dead mine is a lot more annoying. Well for same reason a merchant in Temple of Time was turned down, there is no need to make things easier, finding the items is a bi product of you wanting to be in dead mine, you can pick another location if you rather save 10 min a day and lose out on money/exp.
You can do the quest that lets you use the tower from Orbis to El nath. Plus that's something the original Maple had. And you only need to go there once every 6 hours.
