Is this something that have been removed since, or is it just me that dont see account sharing warning?

"Enter your account name and vote for MapleRoyals to receive 8000 NX Cash.
Please ensure there is at least 1 character level 15 or above created on your account before voting!
You may only vote once every 24 hours.

Please note: each household may only vote once per day.
If there is more than one player in your household, you need to be accepted on our Voting Whitelist before each of you is allowed a daily vote.

    For more information, read our
    voting rules"

It seem to just state that people in the same household shall be whitelisted before they vote.

I think this is a really good idea and I support it, but have a few concerns.

Firstly, I rarely ever pay attention to those MapleTips.
Secondly, if they read the MapleTips this is now after they started playing... they might already have broken the rules. Then what?

That said, anything that helps is better than nothing.

Regardless, they have agreed to have read the T&C. Pleading ignorance doesn't cut it. These Royal Tips are just extra.

It's like anytime you sign up for a service and are too laxy to read the fine print. Regardless of if you knew or not, you yourself signed that you understood it. Pleading ignorance does not fly, especially if you physically agreed to the terms. That's on you, not them

Although people should read the T&C, it's realistic to say that a lot don't, especially those whose first language isn't English - it's a heavy read, even for someone like me.

What I would personally like to see is either Account sharing is strictly forbidden written loud and clear across the top of the registration form in big red bold letters or a pre-registration page which requires you to read the words:
"This account is for my own use and I will not allow anyone else to use it for any reason" and then tick a checkbox.

Yes, there are plenty of other rules that get broken, but this is by far and away the most misunderstood/overlooked rule and also one that might not be "common sense" to anyone who's played GMS and got away with account sharing there. To give comparisons, it should be 100% obvious that hacking or duping or buying Mesos for real money is a permanent ban, and in the case of rules that people might not expect - "N*gga" or"F*g(got)" earning you an autoban if you smega it, or getting banned for KS-ing - those rules typically don't have such heavy first-time penalties.

For the sake of both the staff and new players, I would really like to see this implemented. It would save a LOT of work and stress all round.

I think each sub-forum under other languages should have their own TL:DR of the ToS. If desired I could take care of the translation for the Swedish version.

I think this might be a pretty good idea tbh. I saw a Chinese version I think somewhere, but it seemed to be in a comment hidden somewhere rather than in the open.

I would be more than happy to provide Korean translations as well.

The mapowner thing is a bit confusing. I still don't know entirely how it works and i'm lvl 126. When I first joined the server i saw someone "owned a map" so I looked on the forums and asked some people in game but didn't find too much info on it. I kinda learnt what it did from reading peoples ban appeals of all things.

It's obvious ksing is banable as it should be, but maybe some info on how mapowner works for new players would be a good idea so they know when they're in the right or wrong when they get into ksing arguments.

Also as other people have mentioned account sharing isn't so intuitive, but people should pick that up from the T&C.

Another one would be that scamming isn't bannable makes new players vulnerable but that's an entirely different discussion i think.
