New to the game

Hello, name is Jeremy and I reside in Wisconsin in the USA. I started playing this game probably about a week ago and managed to make it to level 35 as an eventual Hero. I am quite a sarcastic fellow so bare with me and keep that in mind should we ever cross paths! I noticed it was a hell of a time trying to level and even get this far, so I figured I would at least introduce myself in hopes of trying to lure in some new friends, doesn't hurt to try. I am not looking for hand outs as I have an incredibly hard time accepting them and I feel as I will always be in that persons debt. But if someone asks me for something I will not take NO for an answer, or if they are looking for something. I will use all sorts of threats and blackmail to get them to accept said items or help. I'm a bit of a weird guy!

As a fighter, for me, it is quite hard to do quests sometimes as the mobs have such incredible evasion and I cannot hit them. Sure the mob is 10 levels lower but alas..... So I am always 10-15 levels behind on quests lol. Thank god for the experience boost!

Considering that this is basically new to me and there isn't a whole lot of direction, I may have some questions. Ok, I lied. I do.

I guess the only real question as of right now is how do you apply the scrolls to pieces of gear or pets? Is there an NPC that you need to speak to?

For scrolling for the pieces of gear or pets, you need to open your item inventory as well as your equipment inventory. For the scroll you are working drag it over to the equipment inventory on top of the piece of equipment you are scrolling. Obviously if it is the wrong piece of equipment it will not work and nothing will happen. If it is the right piece it will either be a bright star or turn to black dust as to it either passed/failed, hopefully it works out for you. As for the pet, it is a similar process but with the pet equip tab opened up. Welcome to the server.

Thank you for that tidbit of information. I had the suspicion it was something as silly as that. I purchased some Wings from the Cash shop and I tried using a Cape Scroll on the wings, but I think a cape is an all together different item, probably at a higher level. So I was thrown off by that. We'll give it a whirl once server is back up, and by black dust you mean it could destroy the item?

 

Nope, black dust only fails the scroll chance and it will use up one of the scroll slots provided on the piece of equipment. If you are using a dark scroll, there is always a chance of the equipment being destroyed, but who doesn't like to live their life dangerously?

I should also mention that my in game character is Windir and that I play at all odd times of the day and night, due to my work, but I wont get into that. So should anyone want to, there it is.

Another question has arisen! Is the only way to get a chair through the royal points cash (somehow i missed the one in the starter zone) ? Keep in mind I am only lvl 36.

 

There was one in the starter zone? I missed that too

I'm level 44 now and still without a chair

 

I am 39 now! Somehow. hehehe. Yeah I guess that there was one in the starter zone but oh well! I made a Hero so I guess I technically don't need it, but still would be nice to have! You are 44! Ooooo Almost closing in on ya to perhaps level with you and do quests!

 

Bit of an update I guess.... Made it to 65 but I am trying to find a helpful guild (also one in which I can help members out too!) I see the huge list in the recruitment but that is quite a list. I'm not looking for a MASSIVE guild, but one that is reasonable and close knit I guess you could say. Any ideas or thoughts on guilds would be helpful! Thanks!

There's a chair at Lith Harbor that you can buy ( it is 500 mesos, extremely cheap ) <3
