Where can I reset forgotten password?

You need to send a PM to both John and Katsuruka (in the same PM) with the following information

1) Your account name
2) The date of birth associated with your account
3) The email address associated with your account
4) The sha-1 hash of a new password (the new password itself must be less than 12 characters long)

To get the sha-1 hash of your new password, go here:
http://www.sha1-online.com/
Enter your password there and press the "hash" button, then paste the hash into the PM.

8 days ago, I was able to just straight do it by e-mail. Was this new process just implemented?

 

Since it sounds very unusual I think you are mixing things up, unless you forgot your password twice in 8 days.
Only way to retrieve a lost password is by sending that information to the admins listed.
