Decrease the Boss Mobs Spawning Cool Time

    I enjoy MapleStory. I enjoy having myself indulged in the story line of the quests that only the old MapleStory has. The best part of quests is doing boss Mob quests because they give large amounts of fame and the story lines are decent. However, I continuously find it hard to complete the boss Mob quests because there are too few mobs. The channels are limited to ten, but there is only one mob per four hours. Any person can kill the mob for fun, with the sacrifice of those who are trying to do quests. Additionally, some boss mob quests require dropping items from the mob, which are dropped in a pretty low rate. Please decrease the boss mob spawning cool time. It will make my life easier. Thanks.

    Certain boss mobs like Bigfoot, Anego, Headless Horseman and Manon we believe are in a good spot already, with regards to demand for bosses to kill and reward for killing them/how often they're available. If you've got any specific bosses you'd propose we decrease the spawn time on, I urge you to share! We can discuss your thoughts when you've elaborated a bit more. Which bosses in particular would you like to change, and by how much?

    Well, I am in the middle of The Legend of the Old Fox, which is about hunting down the Nine tailed Fox. The quest requires me to hunt the fox once and bring one Old Fox's Tail. I was in the spawning map for days and killed like 20 of them, who never dropped the quest items. The known bugs list do not include this quest, so the mob should drop the tail, just in a low rate.

    Same problem applies to The Legend of the Snail. Mano drops the rainbow snail shell in a pretty low rate, I suppose. After finally acquiring the item, I found that the quest was glitched, and I was pretty sad at that moment.

    I'm looking forward to complete all boss mob quests. So the best is to have the respawn period for all boss mobs decreased.
    But I will also appreciate if you would just decrease those of Nine tailed fox and Mano, not to mention to have the Mano quest fixed.

    I really appreciate you guys for providing a free chance to satiate my sense of reminiscence, and I won't hesitate to give feedback that would enhance the quality of this game.

    Just my two cents. As the server is growing... more bosses are killed. Yet the spawn time stays the time. Meaning that the more players we get the worse it gets for players to hunt for mob bosses.

    I have the same issue with the Old Fox's Tail too! Its either soooo super super rare, or the quest is glitched.

    Far as I know the fox tail does not drop so you can't complete the quest.

    The new source will fix these issues, there is also a difference in the boss cooldown, which may be to resemble GMS and if that's accurate you will probably see a lower cd on area bosses, though I can't confirm if it will stay like that, nor have I tested the timer for every area boss on the beta.

    I personally think that lowering the manon cd a little bit wouldn't be too bad. Especially considering the rapid increase in players (I saw somewhere that a LOT of new bishops were made in the past few months as well) the manon cd being decreased to 5 hours might be nice. Nothing too significant, but overall increasing the spawn rate slightly. As more and more players reach Horntail level as well, this boss becomes highly contested. I'm okay with the others staying the same because they are primarily for exp and I feel like it should be somewhat of a challenge to find them, especially since it's usually solo (or duo at most). Manon, however, is a requirement for a core skill, not to mention required for Horntail (which is a party! yay♡)

    Manon already has the chance to spawn as early as 4 - 41/2 hours

    Considering that this was setup for when there were a lot less players though, I don't think shortening it to 5 hours is that bad. It only ensures a minimum of almost 5 manons per day (so it isn't a significant increase) while still catering to the fact that we have a lot more players that need them. People will still have to fight for them regardless, I don't think it's bad to consider the number of players we have. There are almost 1000 players online at times compared to the 500-600 we had just a few months ago.

    Shortening the respawn or making it more precise in respawn time makes it easier for stronger players to go through all the channels killing for nx

    I think with the increasing population it does make bossing harder and less fun. I've just gotten to a point where i can kill bosses like anego and bigfoot but finding this is too hard to make it worth doing. I spent 2hours yesterday looking for anego and found none and the other day about the same time looking for bf and found 1hh and 1bf...

    looking for bosses is part of the fun but when it's so hard to find them it kinda just kills it for me and i know a few people who are in the same boat not wanting to boss since when we go hunting we can go a whole hour without actually getting to fight anything.
