I am receiving strange lag issues. Started yesterday Only difference I have done is buy 2 nx items and level. My client is laggy; unable to use skills, talk, mobs are frozen. My gf's client is perfectly lag free. She's able to game normally. My girlfriends laptop is right next to me. 5 fingers away from being touched. My internet is stable. I have tested it countless number of times. I even rated my highest. My pc and my gf's laptop are both wireless. My client is under recommended compatibility settings. No firewall issues for mapleroyals is an exception. I uninstalled and reinstalled. Downloaded the most recent setup. I don't know how else I can fix this problem. Sometimes when my gf and I are on the same map my client will freeze, but I can see my character move around freely as I control it on my gf's minimap.
Do you update your graphic card driver? This could be an issue. Some virus or software are able to cause the hard disk to work under 100% which will cause the lag.
I have upgraded it recently, but I will double check if it's the latest because I do not like installing the beta versions...
Well exceptions don't always work unless you make the whole path for the folder an exception and even then I have my doubts about some worthless antivirus programs.
Allowed the whole folder. I have avg. I'll have to give and double check my graphics driver sometimes this weekend to see if it fixes my issue.
So I brought my pc to directly connect my internet to my pc. Mapleroyals and my client is fine, but when I bring my pc back into my room and use a wireless adapter the client lags. Why? My internet connection is stable and there are no drop offs.
There seems to be a lagging issue when there is a lot of activity being done in my map. I can be in a map alone and there will be no lag, I can chat and type numbers 1 by 1 and itll show. However when I am training at FoG the lag starts.
Gave up on maple and decided to try to play league of legends. In league of legends, my FPS was HIGH and my PING was LOW. Googled some fixes for that thinking it might help fix my maple issue as well. Came across DNS and packet loss issues? Can this be the issue for my maple?
