The islanders that have been spending their time collecting stars have concluded that it takes about 4 hours of grinding to obtain about 100 stars, roughly. For items as high as the Tedtacular Bearingtons, at 3000 stars, will require a ridiculous amount of grinding. I understand that increasing the drop rate isn't a reasonable solution because it affects the entire server, but maybe the cost of the items, for islanders, can be nerfed a bit more?
I think the prices on Maple Island are what they were last year and those prices are nerfed from what they are on the main land. Keep in mind, the event JUST started and goes for a month. So like the Halloween event, these things are meant to be collected over time, not immediately in a couple days' time.
i think gm is saying we intended only to get a few of the many items since the costs are so high and if u can get a bunch of the items from the list, its going to take an endless amount of hours grinding for them within the 1 month period
The event wasn't that hard last year though. At the current rates it would take nearly 120 hours of grinding for new islanders who want a Tedtacular Bearingtons, which is just 1 item. Just seems unfair that I was able to grind every item last event while others don't get the same opportunities.
I did some math and i get like 50 stars every 2 hours, to get the bloody bear that is 3k on the island it would take 120 hours. For one item. Thats too much grind for almost anyone. Soo i think that making the prices a little lower would make possible to get more than one item. (Like the bear and one chair).
