Well, I never posted an introduction thread to begin with, but I guess this is something like a goodbye thread? Before anyone jumps to conclusions, I'm NOT quitting for good. Instead, I've decided to quit competitively. Basically, I won't be earning mesos, going on HT's, or any bosses (unless you really need an SE mule or a haste/mw20 mule). I've given quite a bit of thought to this and I made this decision because of 2 reasons: 1. I've just been too busy with my studies and life lately. I can't find the perfect balance between earning mesos and focusing on my own life. Earning mesos never really stops, and I guess while some people have a certain goal such as perfecting a weapon, I don't think I can devote enough time for that. I'm going to be alternating between work and study terms to try and get into a Master's Program at my university, so I'll be putting my time into that instead 2. I don't want to quit maple completely. Everything I've done and put my effort into in MapleRoyals (except HP washing because it makes life hell) is something that I'll always remember, and I'm not going to leave anyone behind I'll still be logging on (more often as winter break comes), but with a new set of goals. If anyone would like to join me, feel free to pm me if you're in my BL, or just pm me in forums! Also PM if you wanna skype or just talk and I'll add you on some social media NEW MAPLE ROYALS GOALS: 1. FM Hoe. All the way. 2. Explore every single map in Maplestory without using hidden-street and take a SS in each. 3. Complete every JQ in Maplestory. Because who doesn't like to swear, cry, curl up in a ball, and tear out some hair every once in a while? 4. The 100 hour maple challenge. I won't be at my computer on for even half that time, but I wanna see the MapleTips! No individual S/O's since I'm not quitting completely, but I just wanna say thanks to all our GM's, Admins, and Forum Admins for all the effort and time they put into the server. I can't imagine staying up late in the night for rewarps and server checks, which I know many GM's have done before. I think people don't realize how much GM's invest into this server sometimes, but I guess that's a thread for another day. Kev! As always, I'll start this by f3ing you . I'm glad that you're not quitting for good but just playing less (Certain someone had me thinking the worst until we met in FM haha). I'll be around so you better show me someday those maps you told me about, I'm really interested in them . On the other hand, we still gotta zak someday and relive some good old laggy zak run memories, never forget that! Thanks for all the help, memories,and everything so far .
