Compassions Countenance - VIP Singapore and REG/VIP Showa Town but the NPCs are unclickable, and its not listed in Singapore. Innocent - Which should be in Henesys VIP MuLung/Orbis VIP but isnt. And frankly since ive been looking, it seems like theres the same Faces in all the towns VIP. I havent been here long but is it where you integrated those in REG? I'm pretty sure these faces didn't get added till v .83. However I don't see the harm in extra cosmetic content, it wouldn't harm gameplay.
I thought about that. But we have Showa Town and Singapore so... not having them seems completely odd. I guess if they got added to their towns WAY later (in v82) then i understand. Just makes things abit more bland Lol.
I talked to Kenny a few days back, I'm not sure since I have a very short memory, but I think that he said that he's gonna put all of the new hairstyles (We only talked about them but I believe that it's the same thing with the faces) in one NPC. If those faces are not existing in version 62 (I'll look into it just to make sure), I believe that he'll put them in that npc. Edit: Sorry to say, but Innocent is not. As for Compassions Countenance, I think I saw Christine with that face once. Again, short memory so I cannot be sure.
Wow! Thanks for telling me that ! But, it also makes me alittle sad that it wont be a true v62 server then Lol. Where everything is dedicated to having it originally v62 items and all. So that makes me abit sad But then again i guess i asked for v82 faces hah As long as it sticks to original mobs and maps i guess itll be okay! I just hope it wont spoil the v62 nostalgic game play.
Actually I just imported all the v142 faces and hairstyles. We are in the process of coding the NPC to test all the faces and hairstyles.
I guess it's just a decision to be a v62 server with imported v142, or be a v62 server that is 100% original. If we import all the cool v142 nx items, hairs, faces, and chairs wont we lose the feeling of v62? wat.
No, because of this reason, we are not adding potential, SoK and a bunch of other stuff that ruined MapleStory. We are simply added newer content to the server that only affects the characters appearance in game. Yeah its not nostalgic at all but the thing is if we don't add new content to the server the community as a whole will get burnt out again. It is also your choice to use the new content.
Adding new cosmetics won't ruin the v62 feel - they're just visuals, not actual elements of gameplay. Like Kenny said, adding potentials etc etc would be what brings us off the v62 platform, but for now we're just a v62 server trying to keep everyone entertained, and I think new NX / Hairs and faces are the perfect way to do so.
