How to make baguette

    Hello. It is I, chef Baguette, also known as Chef. I will be teaching you how to make le baguette.

    To make le baguette, your cooking level must be at least 70. But even if you don't have lvl 70 cooking, don't worry, this recipe will help u out.

    To get started on making le baguette, you will need the following things:

    - 1 package dry yeast
    - 1 1/4 cups warm water
    - 3 cups bread flour, divided
    - 1 teaspoon salt
    - cooking spray
    - 1 teaspoon cornmeal

    A true chef always finds their own ingredients. There aren't too many, so it shouldn't take too long. You can just buy em from a store if you're lazy. Once you have all the ingredients, you can finally get to making le baguette.

    Here's what u gotta do:

    1. Dissolve yeast in warm water in a bowl.
    2. Spoon flour into dry measuring cups.
    3. Add 2 3/4 cups flour to yeast mixture.
    4. Stir.
    5. Cover, stand 15 minutes.
    6. Smack dough on a floured surface, sprinkle with salt. Knead until the salt is incorporated and the dough is smooth.
    7. Add remaining flour.
    8. Place dough in bowl coated with cooking spray, turning to coat top.
    9. Cover and let rise in warm place for 40 minutes.
    10. Punch dough down (don't punch too hard or you'll be reported for physical abuse), cover and let rest for 5 minutes.
    11. Divide in half.
    12. Roll each portion on a floured surface into 12-inch rope.
    13. Place ropes on baking sheet sprinkled with cornmeal. Coat dough with cooking spray.
    14. Let rise for 20 minutes.
    15. Preheat oven to 450°.
    16. Uncover the dough.
    17. Cut some diagonal slits across top of each loaf.
    18. Bake at 450° for 20 minutes.
    19. Oui oui le baguette.
