Hiya. I've been poking about for a few weeks or so on a 4x Slinger (Logaen) and a 6x I/L (Logae), and I've done a bit of smega'ing and submitted a guild app, but I haven't done any sort of introduction proper yet. S'pose I ought to do that now. A friend of mine returned to GMS Maple some five weeks ago, and I decided to follow to satisfy my curiosities as to what GMS had been doing the last four years. I returned to my old I/L but was a little upset about some of the skill changes, so I decided to create an entirely new character. I made a Wind Archer and raised him to level 60 (and therefore third job in new Maple) without any particular funding or any particular effort. It was unsatisfying, to say the least. The various small changes, all that extraneous clutter that just mucks up the simplicity of old MS, bothered me the whole time. I eventually decided to see if I could find some old, nostalgic private server. Of course, Royals fit the bill exactly. I figured, in fact, that it was too good to be true, so naturally I was downloading the client in minutes. I thought I'd only play it a few days to satisfy the last of my pangs for this game—this game that ate up far too much of my twelve-year-old self's time. But I got hooked again, and now I'm here. Anyway, I'm seventeen, I'm a classical pianist and general arts buff, I'm a little wordy, and my name's Seth. I'm not sure how long I'll be around, but as for now, I'm really liking it here.
