Can´t Start the Game

Hello Community
I downloaded the Client from the Website because i thought that wouldn´t make any problems.
After I downloaded it i tried to start it but first of all I had to disable my Anti Virus program.
Well now if i 2x click on it my screen is getting "Bigger" (i hope you know what i mean dunno how to describe it)
after that nothing happends and i have to Close it through my Task-Manager and it says MaplestoryRoyals is inactive.

Someone can help me ?

 

I am assuming you downloaded the entire setup? you need all files for the server.

Try changing the compatibility.
Right Click the client > Properties > compatibility and run in windows 98/windows ME

 

Well I´ve changed it but now same problem + the whole client is Closing after 2 secs

 

Did you download the entire setup from the website?
Are you sure you didn't download the beta?

Well then there is something on your computer most likely blocking you from starting, like an antivirus or firewall.
Since it just closes automatically I would guess there is still something messing with you starting the game.

 

Still can´t find/solve the problem but i really want to play on this server
i tried to download it Manually but i couldnt download the dll.
now im at the same point i dont know what to do

 

If you go into compatibility settings are you running the game as an admin?

 

Yes i am running it as an Admin

 

Did you turn off your firewall/antivirus and tried?
Can you open task manager and close anything called mapleroyals.exe if they are stuck there.
What resolution are you playing on?
Any double monitors?

 

Antivirus + Firewall are already off
there were a few of these .exe´s i closed all now
im playing on 1366x768
and no just 1 Monitor

 

Can you try different resolutions if that makes a difference.

 

I tried that too but nothing helps.

 

Is there anything ticked in besides run as administrator on your compatibility tab?

Try closing unnecessary background programs you don't need and see if that makes a difference.
including any antivirus programs.

Could you upload a screenshot of your mapleroyals folder showing all files?

Your problem is unusual especially since you don't get an error code.

Doesn't seem to be anything broken.
All I can say is there is something on your end causing this problem.

• Restart your computer and modem
• Try with a different computer
• Try connecting using your phones 3g/4g
• Play around with the compatibility settings and see if anything works.

Only time I have seen this problem with the live server is when an antivirus/firewall is messing with the connection.
