    It was fine until yesterday. I was pqing and I suddenly dced. My screen was dark for like 30 seconds and when I tried to launch the game again, I got the same message as when there is a server check. My friend was online and there were many players online too, so I don't think there was a server check. Today, I tried again and I get the same message. IGN is Nana.

    I installed the game again and it is still not working. I am using windows 8, so I tried to run it as windows XP, windows 7 and windows Vista but none of them worked. I also tried using lolwut and it did not work.

    Have you disabled any of your fire walls? Try that and also try restarting your router or modem.

    I have disabled my firewalls and it is not working. I also allowed Mapleroyals to communicate through windows firewall just in case... Like I added it on the list of apps and ports (not sure if you understand.. I could upload a picture). I also restarted my router. I will try again just in case. :(

    Also, when I dced, my character stayed online even though I was not. I tried to solve it using character fixes and I think I am offline now. Also, when I try using the basic method in lolwut, the server check message appears, but when I use Fraysa's method, it says:

    Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. (When I click continue, it does not work either)

    The system cannot find the file specified.

    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    I'm not too sure what this means..

    If you could, could you check if you can update your computer at all? Also please check that your drivers are on the latest updates. This sounds like more of a computer issue not a MapleRoyals issue.

    It is okay if you do not know what could be the problem, but I would like to add that Windows 8 tells me there are no updates available. I have checked if my drivers are on the latest updates and yes they are. I also bought this computer less than a year ago.

    Thank you for helping me Kenny :)
