Solved [Solution Given] VMWare won't let me download the patch

    Basically, when I try to download the wz files from the website, it downloads as a zip file. When I try to open/extract it, it tells me that there is 'nothing to extract'. When I try to download from google drive, it opens a tab, but doesn't download anything. (I tried redownloading it as a whole but it does the same thing as when I try to download it from drive.) I'm using IE as the browser (lol) . Any ideas? :(

    You should be able to transfer the files from your host desktop into a USB key (or your cell phone if it's big enough via USB wire) and then into your VMware desktop afterwards.

    I can drag files from my desktop into VMware window, that way transfer files.

    I'm getting this same problem. I tried winrar and 7zip and its still not extracting the files.
