We have been dealing with immense lagging and DC's to the point of the game being nearly unplayable. I have been told that I am one of the"few" impatient people, however I can hardly imagine that just a "few" people are losing their patience here. Right now we cant even guess whether or not the new source is going to even come out within this next year. It's honestly really bad and I really think if we can get some updates on how the new source is coming along (or even better, a estimated release date although I'm not hoping for this much) we can endure with a lot more patience. Can we please get some kind of update? Thank you
When the New Source Status 1, 2 and 3 were released the new source was in closed beta, thus that was the only way for you to find out updates on the new source. This is obviously no longer the case as it's been in open beta since september the first, so you're now able to find out the progress yourself by either checking the open beta forums or checking the open beta server itself. As it is there is no estimated release date so we'll have to turn your hopes for that one down, there is however a big update on the way for the beta soon so we'll see how far we are after that.
Thank you for the reply. I am aware of the beta update posts, however since there doesn't seem to be any goal as to how much more needs to be done, it unfortunately doesn't do much for those that are wondering. I was actually hoping for some info on what more needs to be done( like a to-do-list kind of thing), so that we can apply the beta update posts and actually measure the progress that has been made towards the final goal. I am glad however to hear a big update is on the way to beta. Hopefully that will transition to the actual game soon thereafter
