I got banned for using the word "niQQuh". Yes, it is a bad word to use. I just don't agree with the fact that using this word should lead to an auto ban. Censoring or a warning at best, however in no way does that affect anyone's game play. It does not give me an advantage, defect other's ability to play Maple Royals, nor does it hurt another person's feelings. If someone is offended by the word "niqquh", I am sorry the internet is certainly not a place for you. Although it is a temporary ban, I am posting for the sake of other players. Please consider my alternate strategies in dealing with profanity. This ban, in my honest opinion is illegitimate. Thanks for reading up until here.
Let's cut straight to the chase. You got banned for trying to smega the n-word which is something we don't tolerate here. Now you're here to tell us you don't agree with our terms and conditions, even though you've agreed to these terms and conditions when you made your account. Then you're here to tell us that if someone feels offended by the n-word, the internet is not the right place for them.. How about we change this around to: If you can't follow the rules and control your urge to use profane language, MapleRoyals is not the right place for you. Your ban will not be shortened.
Like I said I don't care about shortening of the ban. I wasn't disagreeing with your terms and conditions. It was quite an unprofessional way you dealt with a suggestion of a new idea. I've seen smegas using the word shitty as well, and nothing happened. So profanity can't be the problem here. The "n" word I used if you see my ban message wasn't even used in that context. In no way am I trying to offend anyone. Just like how people these days use the word Gay. Or say Jesus Christ when something bad happens. People get offended, but is really an autoban the way to deal with it. I'm not trying to pick a fight with you, this post was mainly to show that I got banned for this specific reason, and was wondering if it could be changed, like warning or censoring. That is all.
Since you don't show any interest in attempting to shorten your ban I don't understand why you've made a ban appeal, since the ban appeal section is here for people to appeal their bans and nothing else.
