Though bathrobe has lower def, it is not of great importance. For a scrolled one, bathrope is more preferable as one can wear it earlier at lower level. The level requirement is seen as the "cons".

    How so?

Kinda irrelevant but can you explain me how scrolling works? Ik they fail and stuff with rates.. but how many times can you scroll, and whats the max amount of upgrades thing supposed to mean? Are the +n number supposed to be from your scrolls? I was a light maple user until now and i want to know these basic stuff i missed.

As in, say a bathrobe with 10int which you can wear at level 20 versus a sauna robe with 10int which you can only wear it at level 30, hence bathrobe is better

Max amount of upgrade is literally the number of remaining upgrades you can scroll on that equipment, say an equipmemt with 7slots left, after scrolling it, the slots will be deducted by one, become 6, regardless you passed or failed with the scrolling.

The +n number, i believe (correct me if I am wrong) is the number of success scrolling on that equipment, say an equipment with 7 slots, you scrolled it 7times, passed 3 and failed 4, there will be +3 next to it.

Every item has a certain number of slots that allow it to be scrolled. A bathrobe can be scrolled 10 times because it has 10 slots. The +n represents the number of scrolls that have passed on that item. So let's say you passed 8 scrolls on your bathrobe and the next 2 failed. You would have a +8 bathrobe. Bathrobe is better for scrolling because it is cheap, very easy to obtain, and can be worn at an earlier level compared to sauna.

Every category of item has their own number of slots, yes. For example all overalls have 10 slots. All weapons have 7 slots. Etc. Yes there is a chance of breaking equipment if you use 30% or 70% scrolls. Otherwise you're safe :)

It depends of category, i.e., weapons, glove, overall, top, bottom, cape..etc which you can search easily via google or bbb.hidden-street.net.

Talking about breaking equipment, yes there is, a cursed scroll, in which if you failed in the scrolling, you have a certain percentage chance in breaking the equipment. You can search and read more about that too.

Why bother using cursed scrolls then? I would rather pay more for a higher chance than to gamble...

Because lower rate scrolls such as 10% and 30% scrolls give the highest stats possible, higher than 60% and 70%. 10% and 30% give the same stats. So do 60% and 70%. If you want to scroll really good gear, you'll have to use 10% or 30% scrolls (with the exception of chaos scrolls used to scroll certain attack equipment)

And 10% and 30% are the only ones with break potential which are called curse scrolls?

No no, they aren't called cursed scrolls. They are called dark scrolls. And that is only the 30% and 70% scrolls. They have a chance to break your gear. The 10%, 60%, 100% are all safe and they won't break your gear

I guess ill only use 60% ones then since 100% will most likely give crap stats :)
