Positive: A. Since a lot of people have a different time zone, it will create a situation when someone would be able to buy your AP Reset or Safety Charms while you're not online. B. Make the sales go faster. Negative: A. Will need to block Gachapon Tickets.
I am not a fan of this idea because we would then be creating an NX to meso exchange rate on the server, which I do not think would be beneficial in the long run. I would be interested to hear other opinions though.
I'm all for AP resets in stores, since people sell/buy those all the time for mesos. I highly doubt that allowing AP resets to sell overnight would be a bad thing. Not sure how I feel about any other NX item selling in stores, it depends.
i agree with the sell, JUST for ap resets in the stores. Because have a lot of ppl asking for buying or selling in the smegas. i dont like the idea to sell equips item, for example...
I don't have any problem with the idea of people selling NX equips in stores - it would be a nice and simple way to find a buyer for that outfit you've gotten bored of. Smegas, also no problem. Not so sure about AP resets, and Gacha tickets are a definite no-no. I wouldn't want the risk of either of those getting merchant-duped.
I agree with you. I suggested to block gacha tickets. I think that selling nx equipments, for an example, is harmless.
I'm with John on this one. I'm already not keen on people buying an selling AP resets. That took me a fair amount of convincing to do.
I think the poll oversimplifies it; John has a valid point but the reality is we already have an NX:Meso exchange rate (AP resets, Smegas) so I don't think selling these kinds of stuff in shops is a big deal –– I agree with Bubbles in that I don't think selling NX equipment will be a big deal; people would have the choice of buying it in meso or buying it in NX. It'd also help people who're tired of an outfit and just want to sell it for cheaps (or whatever, y'know). But yeah I've made a list (it's not very comprehensive) of what to block just because I don't want the market to collapse on itself 1. Gach tickets 2. Pets and pet-related equipment (with the meso rate being high and all, meso would come by a lot quicker and I think it's best to leave pets as they are: an NX option for those who want a little minion to pick meso up for them, as compared to selling that NX for AP resets, you feel?) 3. EXP & Drop rate boosts (being able to sell XP boosts creates something similar to a pay-to-win economy where only the rich'll be able to afford to have multiple high-leveled characters, and I feel like drop rate boosts should be a gamble trade-off, like, if you decide you want to hunt for certain equipment, you could buy a drop rate boost, but at the cost of NX which would have bought you meso for said equipment) That's all I can think of for now, I'll add more and document my edits if I think of any others. (Planned economies FTW) Edit @ 1030 GMT: Just saw Matt's post I see where you're coming from and we have a shared hatred of pay2win but the reality of being able to sell the AP resets is that it help newbies and beginners (especially newbies under level 50 and can't yet Gach) get started with buying items and pots. Speaking as a player who joined something like 3 days ago, I can say that selling AP resets really helped me get the ball rolling. An alternative, if you're still not keen on people selling AP resets, is to lower the Gach level requirement to 10 so that even newbies could gach and make money off of that.
Then every man and his dog will begin making gach mules, and the more "legitimate" players only voting on one account will get less value from gachapon tickets. Level 50 is not particularly hard to achieve, nor is a lack of gach before level 50 really an issue, especially with a community as nice as this one.
I think we should appreciate the fact that we're already able to trade it in the first place. Why is it that some people are never satisfied with the current state and always look for ways to make things easier?
Come on. You can almost say that to every thread that people post in here. so therefore, I think that point is a bit of false. And I really agree with Saxa, He made some great points! Ugh sorry Saxa, but I have to agree with this post on this one. I think the level requirement for gacha should be even higher.
Hmm yeah I see where youre coming from I never really thought about people just making gach mules and abusing the system.
Let's get back on topic please. Remember we're discussing whether to make NX items tradeable, and the extent to which we should allow it. Or actually, more specifically, we were discussing whether AP Resets and Safety charms should be sold in stores. I think they should. Character customization tickets (aka beauty salon) tickets are already sold for 1m each by NPCs themselves and while I realize that these are merely cosmetic options as opposed to combat options (vis-a-vis AP resets and Safety Charms), the game has innately set a Meso:NX exchange rate (albeit a very flimsy one). I don't see the harm of allowing AP resets and Safety Charms to be put in stores, unless the coding for them would take ages, in which case, the current state is fine as it is. @Briceyo: I think you need to understand that we're not unsatisfied with the current state of things; our suggestions come from wanting to make the game more enjoyable and playable. You're free to disagree, of course, but please don't mistake our intentions. I, for example, suggested a ~goto [town] command for teleportation, and lots of people disagreed saying it would take away from the nostalgia of v62. I agreed, and backed off.
I've never called your opinion false. That is not a statement, or an opinion. It's suppose to be a fact. A fact. And I think that this "fact" of yours is false since there's always something improve. Now, can you please tell me how's selling NX items would do the same amount of damage like making the Gachapon tickets free? Because I think it won't. And I have no need to sell AP Resets, so I'm not only thinking about me when I'm suggesting it.
The whole point of the feedback section, though, is for Royallers to suggest possible changes and offer up ideas and feedback on existing features. Agreed with this. =)
