Hey. This is a simple suggestion. Please allow people to write letters like "ø, å, æ, ñ, â, ê" and such in chat. It's a bit annoying to write stuff in your own language during personal chats, where you suddenly have to write in alternative ways which may cause confusion. I hope it's doable!

The client itself does not support it. While I believe the EMS client does have support built in, the current client we are using does not and is why it cannot be done at this time.
I just remembered that this has been discussed earlier. I also remember something about the new source, but can't remember, will it support special characters?
100% agree this, since we have community from like everywhere, this should be implement even for character creation, allowing Jap/Chi/Kr characters should be Fair too
Just because it should, does not mean it can. I don't think the staff has ever said we are against allowing special characters. However, because the client does not allow it, there is no possible way for us to support it. I do not believe the new client allows for such support either.
I'm going to be positive and hope it's possible even though it's not! Well, I guess time will show if it is doable or not!
Hi, with a lot of Europeans in this server, and lots of other languages from around the world from European to Chinese and so on, why haven't we considered adding other languages packs? And besides, who doesn't want to be able to type some awesome Kaomoji's like these ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻┻
