The requirement to catch your breath before you do a variety of things has been a long standing feature. But it's one that I'm sure most are annoyed about, especially when you try to change channels or warp into the FM and get hit by monsters. Usually it just takes a while for you to complete your action but in worst cases it could lead to your death. I personally see pros in removing it and can't find anything to say in support of keeping it. I don't mind if it stays for actions such as dropping items or whatever else, but for CC'ing and FM warping, it would be nice if it were gone, if it's not a pain to implement in the code. I'm genuinely interested in any opinions against removing it for the aforementioned 2 functions. I didn't want to make a poll since I'd prefer if people provided reasons with their opinions.
Well the reason it's originally there is to prevent people from just cc'ing when they are about to get killed or damaged. Many other MMO's also have a similar feature to prevent easy avoidance of (for a lack of a better term) stuff. I also believe it's there to stop hackers, such as hacks that allow players to instantly change channels when another player is in the map. IMO, it is an annoyance but it's there for a reason and I don't see any reason to remove it. My logic for this feature might be wrong but it's why I see it's there.
It's especially annoying when you do zak or something and want to wear some item or drop potions and can't because of it.
Why making game more easy than it is, it's not that hard to escape mob for 3 full seconds.. annoying but possible
My main is a Night Lord, and is easy as eating cake, i don't see a reason for this, i know is lazy sometimes but i see this like a part of the game.
