Character name : boat Last thing you did : Wack a mole (Or kill a snail) Why do you think you got banned? : Logging onto anothers' account Ban message when attempting to log in : Haven't downloaded royals for over a year. What GM banned you : Head Honcho Was banned over a year ago for going onto the account of another player, and read somewhere that there was a second chance program going around after x amount time banned.
Hmm I must've read that in another server because I spent the last hour checking, Although I did find this ; I believe it's been over 30 days, Probaby over a year. @Tim
A year ago there was no minor abuse for that rule, you got banned when all occasions of account sharing resulted in a permanent ban and that's still the rule you're banned for today.
Id like to link you to my original report abuse, why I was banned. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/reporting-ryan-for-a-form-of-account-sharing.10996/#post-56653 And as you read in the server ToS, in the last lines of Ban rule #26."Please note that if you use the same login details on another server and share your account info there, you are jeopardizing your account security here and will be expected to take responsibility for any consequences." Which is exactly what happened.
Taking ones items would account as major abuse even with today's rules, which also results in a permanent ban.
And for the part of the ToS that says; "you are jeopardizing your account security here and will be expected to take responsibility for any consequences." Losing items would be, in fact, a consequence of jeopardizing your account information. @Tim Which, in this particular instance, I would be at fault for logging into an account without permission due to the account information being that of another server in which it was openly shared with me. Losing ones items is the account owners consequence of doing so as stated in the ToS, and should therefore indeed take responsibility for it; instead of I.
You're logic is completely absurd. Just because I give my friend a key to my house does not give them the right to steal from me. In fact, they would still be punished as a thief because that's what they are. Losing items just means they probably won't be refunded. Not that you get a free pass to try and steal from others. And that's what you're being punished for - major account abuse (stealing items). You won't be unbanned, don't bother trying.
My logic is simply that of taking the rules as they are literally written, are you to tell me I should take them literal but open ended? Hmm. @Jeen
You're the one trying to find loopholes and twist the rules to your advantage, not us. Don't make another thread.
