My friend is trying to catch the Frozen Heart of Lycanthropus has 1 week and a half, and still failed. Andrea said it is usual ... I disagree.

If you can't find the quest item to drop, make sure you're on the right part of the quest and you're killing the correct mob.
Yes. I redid all the way the mission with him at all NPCs ... you're not missing anything. Only need to kill the Lycan, but he does not drop the Frozen Heart of all. He came to stand two hours killing and got nothing. = \
