Notice New Client 27th Jan 2016

    from the moment of the new client i cant get in mapleroyals i trid to update it and it didnt work and then i trid to delet it complytly and redowlond and it didnt worked either what to do??

    I don't even use an antivirus program or anything like that and it just vanished. Any ideas? :l

    That's not possible.
    You have an antivirus program active, probably windows defender.

    this new client sucks i cant do anything i cant even open the game also i closed/deactivated my antivirus didnt change anything -,- its been like that for weeks and sometimes the launcher deletes itself i know its suppose to be the anti virus that deletes it but even when my anti virus is closed/deactivated it still removes itself that client is haunted call ghost busters to fix your client ._.

    It is physically not possible for the client to delete itself.
    So obviously you have not disabled whatever you have on your computer correctly.

    You can also try the latest client that Matt released it has worked for those that have tried it so far.

    I get this everytime I try to open it as admin and when I don't nothing shows up but the beta works perfectly fine I don't know how to translate lol I'm not really good with traductions :x

    I assume it is your antivirus and some sort off permission problem telling you that you are not allowed to open the game.
    Your computer can't decide to stop you from doing something unless there is a program that stops you.

    If you know what antivirus you have on your computer and windows version it does get easier helping you.

    I get this message after I have successfully disabled windows defender and I try to open it.
    I am using windows 8.1

    my antivirus is Microsoft Security Essentials and im on windows 7

    You could uninstall it if you would like.
    I don't know how you disable it, I really dislike all windows security programs for their annoyance in not staying off :p
    You could google it.

    Well, Andreas, guess what. I don't have. Not even windows defender. Want a proof? I've been playing for some time and it NEVER went like this. Never got any probs or anything like. After I downloaded and it "deleted itself" my computer even got slower, so I guess some trojan or anything like that. I'm saying it again: no antivirus, no windows defender and no firewall. Worked great until this last patch.

    If you want to believe that the client can delete itself go ahead.
    Also you are saying that thousands of players that no one but you are saying that the client is a dangerous trojan making your computer slow.
    There is not much I can say if you believe in things that are not possible.

    Everything worked fine for me since day one of new client, took me literally 60 seconds

    Reinstalled the game yesterday on my pc with the new client that was on the mainpage. Game doesn't want to load I get the box that says firewall or server check.

    Antivirus is completely off as is windows defender, no mistakes it literally says in text they are off.

    Update: I already fixed it.

    What worked for me was, right click your mapleroyals icon > properties > take the tab that says Compatibility > click the box that says "run this program in compatibility mode for..'' and then choose Windows XP (service pack 2), click OK at the bottom and launch mapleroyals and see if it works.

    Worked for me, pay attention you took service pack 2 not 3 that one didn't work.
