Our Story: We didn't even meet that long ago. Too be honest, he's only been in my life a little under a week. But the first time we met, it just felt right from the very beginning. It was love at first sight. I knew that was what I felt and just looking into his eyes, I could see he felt the same. And yes, I know we probably aren't the best looking couple out there; People call me uglyand are pretty scared when they see my face for the first time in combination with my wild hairstyle and clothing and Slimey is a bit pudgy (ok, ok, he's obese, happy now?!), we see through that and love each other for what's important, for what's on the inside.
And even though I'm not really a materialist, I must say, him showering me and my friends with gifts multiple times a day does have it's upsides!

Our Story:

Yesterday we met exactly half a year ago..
What Kai always told me was that I "dropped" from the sky with an ostrich in which he instantly fell for me.
He was there chatting with this girl called @PinkMiIk when I literally fell from the sky. Since I logged in at that moment.
I came back to royals after hiatus for half a year, and they were the first people I bumped into.
What happend was Kai and his friends wanted to recruit me to their guild.
From then onwards we kept in touch since he really wanted me to be in there.
After a while of spending a lot of time together I eventually said "yes".
And got invited to their guild.

We got really close, and we found this hangout spot at petpark in Henesys, (he always laughed at me for failing and falling down And I always replied to him that he's being a distraction to me... "I'm just too good looking" He always said..) which is still our regular hangout spot.
We spend our days there, talking about ourselves, our daily lives we basically talked about everything
and got to know eachother very well.

Eventually we just got closer and closer, and waited for eachother every single day at the exact same spot.
Unknowing to us we both got very attracted to eachother, not just in game but in real life too.
But, we were just too afraid to confess to eachother.

One day he just got over himself and proposed to me, in game of course hehe.
He told me, he really liked me. And wanted to be with me.
I was so glad he told me that, since I felt the exact same way.
I'm still really glad..

So we got married after spending 2 weeks together.
You probably think, 2 weeks? That's so short.
But no, we spend EVERY single hour of the day together to talk to eachother.

After all this, knowing that we really like each other.
We started spending time on Skype aswell, chatting at first of course.
But then we just decided to talk which took us a very long time since we were a bit shy,
It was really awkward in the beginning but I instantly told him I fell for him in real life too.
Now we talk through Skype literally every single day.

We're not together yet in real life, but we will be very soon.
We're planning on studying together in the UK in a year time.
We sent each other gifts through the mail aswell.

He got me tons of letters, a stuffed animal he had for a very long time. Roses, his shirt, cute pair of socks.
And tons of snacks

My gift to him, my favorite book. A heart shaped pillow, a dreamcatcher I made. A monkey winter hat, for when he comes here.
Since it must be really cold for him. Tons of letters, and dutch snacks.

We're very happy together,
we spent a lot of time together through royals,
There is so much more to add to this story, but it's already long enough.

Kai is from Malaysia,
And I'm from Holland.
Royals brought us together.
We both thank Royals from the bottom of our hearts for bringing us together.

Our Story!
I met my significant other on Global MapleStory back in 2010. She was sitting inside Crimsonwood Keep and I was just passing by to grind. I sat next to her and we began an F6 war. Who won? We can't recall, but it definitely sparked a great friendship between us. The next day, I got banned for hacking heh. Fast forward to 2013, we began dating despite living on opposite coasts of Canada. We had long quitted Global MapleStory by then and our days now consisted of Skype dates and 10 hour phone calls. We continuously talked about a dream of meeting each other in person, which came true in the Summer of 2015. I flew to the West Coast to finally meet the love of my life. That first hug and kiss with her was definitely worth the years of waiting. Once I returned home, we began to play MapleRoyals, not only to relive our memories together on the video game that we had met through, but to create new memories. Royals has been amazing to us, allowing us to reach a new highlight in our relationship. Long distance relationships are totally worth it in the end when you get to feel the person you love after a long term of absence. I love you @Diamond Nguyen
