Character Name: Purkinje Last thing you did: I was doing a Duo with an ArchMage in skeles, while I cast HS for the party. Why do you think you got banned?: I think people who walked past by me may found suspicious of my actions, and they thought I was botting, but in fact I didnt. I realized this method is kind of complicated, that is why people misunderstood me. So, I decided to post my little "tutorial" and to explain myself clear, that I wasn't in fact guilty. Here's my explanation: I found this ArchMage who was willing to leech my priest for free at Skeles (since I have HS). After we duo-ed for awhile, I felt tired and so I decided to go to take a nap. I found a way to continue casting HS, even though I may not be staring at the screen/consciously controlling my character. What I did was: 1. I changed my HS to my "spacebar" in the Keys Configuration Settings. 2. I placed a heavy object (EG: a small box) on my spacebar, and this would force my character to spam HS. How does the method work: 1. My player casts HS continuously for approx 8.5minutes 2. My player's MP was too low to cast another HS 3. After around 5 seconds, MP-Recovery did the job to recover my MP (up to 175 MP if im not mistaken) 4. I may cast another 2-3 HS 5. (Procedure #2 - #5 repeats itself) And so, by this way, I could cast HS (almost like, forever.) without committing something illegal. And I swear I didn't use any Third-Party programs/Hack/anything relevant that could provide me infinite amounts of MP. I did run out of MP, but it was my MP-Recovery who helped to solve this problem. Extra information: Q: Why didn't I cling myself onto a ladder/rope while casting HS? A: I noticed that the buff itself (HS) has a delay in its animation. So if I cling on a ladder/rope, my HS would be casted too fast until a point my MP-Recovery may be too slow to heal my MP, and this method will fail to work. And so what I did was, I stood on a safe, flat surface instead. The method mentioned above worked smoothly. Ban message when attempting to log in: Your account has been temporarily banned for botting. The ban expires on Tue, 8 Match 2016 21:14:07 (GMT). Placing an object on your keyboard to continue casting a spell makes your character function automatically without your presence, this counts as robotic behaviour and is against the rules. OK thanks alot :/ But I have a question: if I am doing the same thing (placing heavy object on keyboard to spam a skill) but I am still sitting in front of my screen, it's just that maybe I was doing some reading/ran downstairs to grab some food for awhile. I may not be consciously staring at my character for like, every single second, but I will resume + checkout with my character after 30-60 seconds. (Maybe to move around and loot items/check my chatbox) is that considered illegal? (Because I don't want to commit illegal stuffs without knowing it was illegal, again >.<)
I wouldn't risk it if I were you, one more offense for botting means you would be permanently banned from the game.
