Possible to get Zakum Helm at lv50 without washing HP? Bowman/Assasin

if u are intended to get into zak by lv50,

1. survive with hb-ed hp of 3.2-3.3k hp
if u are not familiar with zak attack, the chances of dying is still high even with 3.2k - 3.3k hp with hb
classic example: at the moment ur hb finish and hb-er cant buff at the moment zak seal skills + stun combo which make even with dispel or all cure useless atm since u cant buff instantly

2. resurrection/ time leap
i doubt u can get bishopS or bucc to party with u lol. even attackers party also have no intention to invite more bucc or bish into their party as it will decrease the dps (sorry bucc and bish D: ) except if u got lucky when there's bucc and bish in looter party, but since most of the ppl get zak helm before 4th job...

i think it is no a necessity to get zak helm by lvl 50 if u are not washing. most ppl want to get zak helm by lvl 50 is because they need to increase more int by lvl 50 (either their bandana is not well scrolled or they will scroll zak helm with int) for washing. if u are worrying for ur dex problem which u need for weapon eq, u can wear ur kandayo until 64 to get skanda. u'll be able survive likely in zak at that lvl (with hp gear of course)

 

yea it added from base hp. but if u got extra hp why not lol

 

Example:
My character base Hp is 1000. I have an item that grants 500 Hp.
Hyper Body gives 60% which means I get the amount of Hp after HB:
- (1000+500) + 60%
OR
- (1000+60%) + 500?

It can be possible if you CONSTANTLY get hit by Pucos/Puncos/Cuzcos/Opachus.



Try staying here, those mobs usually stick around there.


If you get hit by a Falling Totem you'll DIE.

I got zak helm on my xbow at level 50 no problem. Just have decent INT gear

 

Decent INT gear means you washed your character right?

 

It's the former. Hyperbody takes into account base + any HP you gain from items.
The skill's description is as follow: Increases the Max HP and Max MP of party members for a short time. (Max HP in this case refers to total HP)
That's why I suggested getting 400 extra HP from equips which would put you at 1950. That is enough for 3120 HP which allows you to survive Zakum3 which does approximately 3.1k magic damage.

 

Hyper Body multiplies your HP (and MP) by 1,6. That's it. No need to think about which HP comes from items and which doesn't. My brother, a gunslinger, survived with around 3K HP, but like xFASTERx said, it's probably a good idea to have some more.
Also, an Emergency Resque Tube is Lv.60, so at Lv.50 you're better off with a Versalmas Cactus, or a scrolled shield + some 1H weapon (Green Paint Brush for example)

 

You will need 3.3k HP total to survive at zak.

When I was level 50 as an assassin, I washed my HP about 30 times to reach more than 2.2k HP clean.

I will have more than 3.3k HP with HB.

 

Post update : Zakum deals maximum of 2.9k damage (I just got my helm recently at lv55 with HP gear)
If you have 3k-3.1k HP after Hyper Body, you will probably survive.
