1 handed or 2 handed swords

Helloo peeps
I'm unsure whether or not to use 1 handed or 2 handed swords on my fighter. Right now I'm using a 69att 7 str lionheart, but I also have a 15att Maple Shield. Would it be better to continue using 2 handed swords, or scroll a 1 handed sword and use the shield with it?

What level are you? Lionheart is a great sword for a long time thanks to the speed.

 

Right now I'm only level 40, but I'm not sure for around 64-70+ which weapons would be the best option.

 

If accuracy isn't an issue, get a Japanese Map at level 50 and you should be able to use that for a long time.
