Closed Milksteak banned perm

    Why do you think you got banned?: It says hacking
    Ban message when attempting to log in: Sila banned you for hacking
    What GM banned you (optional): Sila

    I have never cheated on any Maplestory servers and am confused why I was banned for hacking on all of my accounts. What did I do to get banned? I am living at a hostel right now and there are over 3000 people here.

    oh I would like to add that I have to use proxies such as hotspot shield and WTfast to play this game as it wont let me connect if I do not. (public wifi) that is not against the rules right?

    I haven't looked into this ban appeal much but I find it interesting the IGN banned is ChuckieMilk, your IGN also contains the phrase Milk, and without anything else being said, you add that you use Hotspot Shield, which really doesn't make sense based on the fact the MAC address associated with your account has only ever been associated with your account, which is not indicative of someone who uses Hotspot Shied...

    Milksteak is something from the TV show always sunny in philly. I have no idea what the other guys name is from but it is not me. I have been playing this server for a couple years on and off as I move around alot. I do not cheat and I don't ever plan on cheating why would I risk everything I have worked so hard for. I know you guys do not often unban people once you have made your mind up but I did not do anything wrong. I mainly use WTfast but I have used hotspot shield in the past so I stated that.

    Hi has there been any progress? I have been reading over over peoples ban appeals and I understand why you cant unban me as it will unban the hackers IP. On the 21st of march I am moving to a new house and will have a proper internet connection of my own is there any chance I could play then? I have been with MapleRoyals for so long and I am going to miss it so much :(

    unbanned, keep in mind using services to proxy your IP or change your MAC are also used by hackers. You will get caught in their bans which can lead to nasty situations especially if they have a similar character name.
