Hello guy, I'm new to this game and I think I did encounter a problem. So I have this magician character of mine, when I leveled up, I will spend my ap points kinda randomly on int, hp and mp. And I just realized how this has become a problem when my stats is not enough to wear a hat or a wand of level 15. I then try to level up to raise my stat to the required stat of the weapon and the hat, which they both require me int 48 and lux 18. So now, my current level is 16 and my stat are now int = 40 and lux = 14, which sounds better after I stop using my ap points on mp and hp. BUT the problem now is, I just got this level 20 staff from a monster and I am very happy by it. But when I look at its required stats, which need me to have int 62 and lux 21 in order to wear, I'm speechless because that means I have to raise my character to level 22-23 to wear it, and the thing is... there are weapons for level 23. SO this means I will not be able to use weapon of level 23 since I think its required stats must be higher than my current stats. So my question will be... is there any other ways to fix this?? Or should I start it all over again? Or is it okay to go on like this? I mean... I don't know if it's normal or not. PS. I'm level 16 and my stat is int 40 and lux 14. Thank you very much.
You should start over and do all ap into int only. You will struggle a little, but at level 35 there are maple weapons you can use.
Welcome to MapleRoyals! My suggestion to you is to restart your character. You should be spending all your AP on INT rather than distributing it to other stats such as HP, MP, or even LUK due to the fact that being a pure INT mage will give you an advantage over other magicians. You will be very limited in your access to equipment early on, but once you reach critical levels (35, 43, 64, 70, 130), you will be able to use weapons that don't require LUK. As for armor, most people tend to buy scrolled equips that any class can wear so later on, if you want to make an attacker, you can HP wash without putting as much AP into INT. What do you mean when you said at level 35 there will be maple weapons I can use, you mean the weapon especially for magician? Or the other kinds of weapon? And wear can I find them? Thank you very much!

And what do you mean by HP wash without putting as much AP into INT, but ain't I supposed to spend all my AP on INT, or you mean this will happen after I reach level 35+. I'm sorry for asking so much, but I don't want to make any mistakes again T_T
You're making things a lot more complicated than they should be. Typically if you want to make a mage, put all your AP into Int. That's it. Don't worry about putting AP anywhere else. This is the most optimal build. If you're curious on where to get your upgrades, look up Maple Wands and Staves on the MapleRoyals Library site.

Add all of your AP into INT from 1-200 because the best wands in the game only require INT. Adding LUK to equip other amours and weapons will just end up making you weaker. There are many wands and staffs that require only INT so although you might sometimes be using a weapon a bit below your level, you'll actually be stronger.
