Hi, I would suggest that all channel (up to 20) is being open up in order to enhanced our game play experience. This is due to user from country with poor internet connection (like me) experience lagginess and delay (1-2 seconds delay in daytime, up to 10 seconds delay at night) and often get kick out from the game due to bad connection.
How would adding more channels help with lag? What you're looking for is most likely a "bigger" Server. The new source is coming soon, that might solve your problems
By all means more channels would not help with lag it would probably cause more lag since there would be more instances of the same map going on the same server.
