So I've been having this issue since Monday's SC where I keep freezing (as though there is massive server lag) and then DCing, but it's not a traditional DC. On my screen, it'll look like there is massive server lag, in that the monsters + other people in the map will be walking in place, and I can't do anything. For other people, though, it'll look like I'm interacting perfectly normally. So like chats that I send go through to them, but I can't see it on my screen. In addition, some skills will work, while others just won't. I can't pot, but they can see me walking around. I'll also receive party experience, or like in pirate pq, I'll receive credit for killing the boss. I have literally leveled before during one of these freezes. In addition, if we are in, say, a party quest that auto-warps people (like in pirate pq or amoria pq), my character will get auto-warped to the next map, and when I try to walk around in my map (so say jumping on platforms or ropes that exist in the previous map), they will see me moving around and being on invisible platforms/ropes that don't exist in the new map. This will happen quite a while before I actually DC, ranging about from 5-10 minutes. It happens randomly, and sometimes it'll happen about five times within five minutes. Other times, it won't happen for a whole like six hours. When this all happens, my other clients are unaffected, so it's not an internet disconnection issue on my end it seems. It also does not seem to be character-connected, as it's happened on all of them. It also does not seem to be client-connected, as it's happened on all of them, Mac or parallels client included. I have also tried reinstalling all of my clients. F4 can someone help me? @Aly @fawkes @Christie have seen this happen. Trust -- it's weird AF
If you have the option try with a different computer/different network, since we broke the players online record a few days ago I have a tough time to blame the server. If you don't have the option, you could try call your ISP and ask for a new IP, or any other solution they might provide.
This started happening to me this evening too. Sometimes I am fine then next second all the monsters are running in place and I can't use my skills. It usually clears up or lags me out. I cycled everything and it didn't help. Not sure what to do now. Don't think its my net, I keep testing it and its coming back fine. I just noticed that we are both from the USA. Could it be related?

I have been dealing with a lot of freeze problem as well: I would freeze every minute or so, with everything frozen except for myself. The freeze isn't just only random, it happens at specific moments as well: -When I use a skill for the first time after login -When I lvl up -When there are a lot of mobs appearing -etc. Although I wouldn't know which one of these solved my problem, I dealt with it by doing the following (on Win10): -update all my drivers -change power plan settings from 'balanced' -> 'high performance' -moved mapleroyals files from (D) to (C) (as the lag would show in the task performance manager to be coming from Data and not from (C).
