Hey guys. I was thinking, with the numbers growing and the forums beginning to become more popular (there's a lot of good stuff on here if you just browse through :3 ) I was thinking we as a community could do an Art or Design sub-forum? A lot of forums that I used to be a member of for games like Counter Strike (lol) had Art sub sections and they were pretty popular. People would find renders for signatures, banners, or Avatars (images off DeviantArt, sites like that where you can find royalty free images that are openly available for editing w/no charge) and there were a certain group of people who worked on their requests..for free of course. It's a great way to practice Graphic Design skills and something to spice up the forums a little bit. Feedback is welcome…I haven't really talked to anybody else about this. I have just noticed there are a few other able-minded people that are pretty good with Photoshop so I figured i'd bring it up. ~Aurora.
Let's do this! I could use some feedback on some art I've been making. It's not Royals-related though, and I'm hoping we don't limit it to that..
@ Saxa absolutely. I think it'd be a little bland if we made it only Maple-related art. We could have a place for signatures/banners, (some sort of application form could be made where people the artist ring a render and desired image size). Then there could be other sections for different types of art. Example: Photoshop, Drawing/Painting, Animated GIFS, stuff like that. Even if it's not a place where people go to get forum avatars/signatures done every day an art forum for people to share their stuff would be cool.
