Hi! I just wanted to say that is function still have some issues with people abuse it and try to kill steal the maps. There was an incident yesterday where my bishop friend went shop and came back the other person kill steal the map even when he sees the bishop mythic door and drops on the floor. So here is my question, if the other person on the safety spot is unable to attack any mobs and while there is a mythic door is still up in the map. Another person drops by and keep attacking without concerning the mapowner and they can let's stay 1 hit all the mobs and therefore the person on the safety spot is unable to touch anything. What is there for us to do? I just got banned for this and apparently it came to our fault because bishop was asking me to hold the map for a min then door'd back. There was plenty of time for another player to ks. I have been trying to tell him to change channels because our bishop went shop. He keep killing and stole the map, and i didn't know on higher level maps you have to use the mapowner function to ask players to cc instead of just talk them out, also i am unable to attack on any mobs, because he keep using AOE whole map. That is super anonying. Sadly the function still have some problems and people are easily get away with it, especially with AOE mages. This is insanely crazy, i can't even imagine playing with a community like that. *I am not asking for a ban appeal as i may soon leaving the community, knowing that it is not our fault at first and still banned for nothing while the other person gets away =.='. It is fine that i did not know to use mapowner function and instead only use chat to tell him to cc before he took over. I guess there is still room for improvement, I am only saying this so that you guys can do something about it and other players don't get ks'ed by similar moves and banned for nothing. Thanks for your attention and you all have a great day staying in Royal.
Its 110% your fault, you guys afked for 3+minutes and lost the map. why should you be able to retain one out of twelve highly coveted maps by being afk? And it's technically harder to get map as aoe mage, spamming auto attack is easier
Yeah afk'd...while i was on the rope trying to ask him to cc and our bishop door was still up?? that is pretty awesome. You guys have a great community here. I think i should stay away from people like you and those wanting to abuse the system knowing more of how to abuse it. It is ok, no biggie. Game is a game. *Hey hey we should not making it sound like this function is not working in the first place to replace the problems of ksing. Yeah definitely agree to that. "Sometimes Advantage can also become weaknesses. It depends how you use it"
What is it they get away with? From the parts I understand, you were not the map owner and you tried to make someone else leave the map. Why would you stay and Kill Steal another person when you are not the map owner? How would you improve this system?
This is not what you want to hear, but that is completely your fault for losing the map. You lose the map if you AFK for 3 minutes. You don't even lose the map owner if you don't hit the monsters; you can just attack the air every 2 minutes without hitting any monster to retain owner of the map. So even if the bishop Genesis the entire map, just swing at the air and you will keep the map.
I have never been ksed in my life as a shadower thanks to said function, so ya, i think its working bro
Map owner works fine homie just swing dat weapon every 1min and you keep it fam, as the other say, you dont even need to hit a mob just mid air.
*sigh* Another one of these 'I messed up so that means the game doesn't work the way it should'-threads? You chose not to attack for more than 3 minutes --> you lost ownership of the map. Deal with it.
I think what he meant was that he wasn't the mapowner, while his leecher was. And retaining the mapowner in the place for the bishop he's leeching from cannot be done because that'll mean two people fighting over the change of mapowner.
I think this thread has served its purpose and since there's no need to keep reiterating that the OP was at fault for losing this map, I'll close this topic
