    Character Name: Noether/Foucault/Blaise

Last thing you did: I don't remember, haven't played the game in months

Why do you think you got banned?: Some combination of the fact that I have moved residence (new IP and IP address) since the last time I played, and the fact that I tried to play the game on both of my computers, and tried to play both the beta and normal versions of the game (and failed at getting either to work). I don't remember ever being banned or doing anything even remotely bannable, not to mention ban evading.

Ban message when attempting to log in: "Disconnected from server please try again later" upon selecting a character.

What GM banned you: Beats me.

So why are you changing your MAC address is the first question?

I've not changed my MAC address. I have two machines, if that is what you mean. One is a laptop (used over WiFi), one is a desktop (over ethernet).

The MAC address associated with your account is one that is used by countless people, including yourself. Also Googling that MAC address yields results of people using it, so it appears as a dummy MAC address which is used to register another program unrelated to MapleRoyals. Needless to say, the reason you are banned is because of this false MAC address. In order to be able to play, you need to use a legitimate MAC address

one of the MAC addresses you use is commonly used as a changed MAC address to illegally install some unrelated software

Well if that's true I guess it might be hard to believe that I've not changed my MAC address. If you could be a bit more specific I might be able to figure out why my MAC address is spoofed(?)

I just did, and it doesn't come up anywhere. That would be why I'm asking exactly what is wrong.

you're displaying a spoofed MAC address to us when you try to connect. the same MAC address was used by a hacker which got that particular MAC banned, so you won't be able to play with that.

Well that seems fair. I just don't see how my MAC address is being spoofed; I've tried various methods of getting my MAC address (I only have a single PCIe bus) and haven't got anything but the single unique non-spoofed one. If I somehow find out what's going wrong with the apparent spoofing, will I be able to log in/be unbanned? Or am I just hosed.

You should be able to play if you find a way to display your actualy MAC address
