Agreed. Adding in a party of third job noobs zakking/etc. adds so many new elements to the challenge as well as most of the maps that are TRULY great for party play are not on Vic (albeit, some are).
Quick update I decided that the V48 challenge will change into a v39 challenge. The reason why I do this is because I feel that New Leaf City is taken the nostalgia and the old-game-philosophy away. I think the newer idea behind games of comfort and making things easy came during the 5th generation of MapleStory. Therefore I chose to keep it a 4th Generation based challenge. Like/Dislike? If you like this idea or dislike this idea, you can update your votes to the v39 challenge or anything else Could a forum administrator or GM please change the title in the polls from v48 to v39? Thank you!!!!!
This is confusing. Herb/Mu Lung are 5th gen (v41). Personally I feel a challenge based on a version is already kind of difficult to remember what you are / aren't allowed to do (as apposed to a challenge such as the Vic island where your boundaries are very clearly defined). If you're going to pick a version, I don't think there should be exceptions as it's just more to remember - so it should be v39 and no herb / mu lung or just keep it as it was. I also wanted to suggest the Villager challenge, which is already established and some players are aware of it. Basically you make a character and can't leave your town (thieves stay in Kerning maps, bowman stay in Henesys maps). This means you remain at 2nd job and in your local area.
Fair enough, I'll stick to that. About the villager challenge, that's a little confusing? How far in your Town can you go? I'm personally not the biggest fan of it as you won't get to experience much of the quests and social teamwork.
You can go to any map in your town (each town has a theme - it's pretty obvious when you switch from Kerning maps to Henesys and so on).
Not a big fan, since it's not giving a nostalgic feeling to me and lack of content but I'll add the rules later. It's in the poll anyway.
