So we've talked about other peoples' talents, what about yours? Can you play an instrument? If so, what do you play? How good are you? I've been playing the piano and organ on and off for the past 14 years. I only had 6 years of lessons so I'm not all that great, but I still love playing Disney music, TV Theme songs, and Christmas music during the season. Are any of you as talented as this guy who literally is sight reading the music? That is, he's never heard the song nor saw the sheet music before and this video is the first time he's playing it?
I've played guitar on and off for about ten years now and it's the instrument I keep coming back to; I like to think I'm at least half-decent at it as well =) shameless plug of old/unfinished or weird and experimental stuff: https://soundcloud.com/matteoyo
I started playing guitar at the age of 6, violin at 11, singing at 12, and piano at 14! Im now 21 and work at Guitar Center. I like to produce/record covers and rarely originals. Heres a cover I did awhile ago! Ps, if you're a The National fan we should be friends.
My dad and I having some fun this past Christmas: A brass quintet I used to play with: I've got more of all of that if people are interested in listening. I've shared some of my music in the shoutbox in the past.
I went to piano course once a week after school in 2 years and quitted, I've posted one video of me playing piano on video section if yu wan see otherwise basic guitar playing
Ofcourse, atleast imo! I do the same and along with that play a lot with MIDI devices (drum pads, keyboards, MPC etc) I never really played any 'real' instrument
Have always been beatboxing and drumming (whether it's on my lap, on a drumset or in the car) since I started in 1st grade up to 9th grade where I quitted going for a beatbox/drum carrier. Nowadays I just casual drumming or beatboxing whenever I feel like to!
A way long time ago I used to drum for a band calle Chunk! No Captain Chunk for a few mon the and they're decently popular now
I play some music on my Launchpad MK II if you know what that is, making some music for fun, nothing professional.
Ayy I know Novation launchpads and I'd use one myself if I was Ableton user they look incredibly fun, and cheap as well!
Maybe! When I move back to the area if you suggest something good I could make an arrangement and maybe convince him to play it with me. Won't be there for another month and a half though.
