Looking for some advice on what to do, I used to play maple back between 2004-2005 when bera first was released. So this was well before hp washing etc. I want to make a Nightlord, im currently level 36 and leveling seems pretty slow 45-1hr per level, might be my gear? I 2-3 shot Chornos. Am i maybe doing something wrong, is there any exp boosts from nx etc on this server? I would really like to HP wash, but don't have the meso for Int gear, and would rather just level my Theif than make a mage to make money, maybe someone has some old int gear they could lend me?
Correct. That's how long it takes to lvl....depending on gear and monster of course. There's always PQs you can do which is faster than grinding. Ill say ....... 35-40 Teddies at Ludi. 40-51 Ludi PQ 51 - 70 Orbis PQ or Grind. If you can find a party at Orbis PQ.
Following Sila's nightlord guide in the guides section would be best. But anyways, if you don't want to make a mage, it's not that bad. Your best bet for making money before 135 (when you can start bossing frequently) would be to gach, preferably at mushroom shrine since it provides the steadiest gach income. Just get a zhelm and dep star at least and you'll very likely be able to get 5.6k hp by 155 by spending maybe 400m or less (this should be affordable due to gachapon). I think this would be your best do-able goal since if you can't get to 9k hp by 155 (which will cost a few billion and even more if you need to leech due to base int) you might as well get 5.6k which will be 9k with HB. You won't need to spend any money on extra int gear or raise your int stat either. You could also try making mesos by farming stuff at different places when you get to higher levels. For example, gold teeth from minor zombies, red katanas from pepes, rexton leathers. From 75 - 100 you might be at wolf spiders, gobies and ulu estate (but its a crowded leech spot), you can save 10% and 60% claw att scrolls from spiders / gobies and use them on lower attack cravens you find at ulu estate, hoping to get lucky, and selling godly ones clean. You could also gach at kerning a few times to get a PGC for yourself and some claw dark scrolls. The nightlord / shadower guides have an equip section, but anyways. If you want to increase your damage, go pure luk until level 100 or so (save up your ap from 90 - 100 and put in an appropriate amount of dex to wear a craven for example). Before you get a craven or dragon sleeve, you'll be using dexless claws (garnier -> maple claw -> kandayo -> skanda -> craven / sleeve). Get luk robe, luk earrings, luk cape, luk shoes early. They're pretty cheap compared to other stat items since they're only useful early and not in endgame. Eventually you'll swap them for dex (earrings) and att items (PGC, FS). Get an att wg early too. By the time you get to 100, even as a new player, it wouldn't be recommended to increase your dex above 75. You should get most of it from equips and decrease it as you get better dex equips in the future. You'll need to get 140 dex to wear the craven which you could get like this in the beginning zhelm - 30 dex (scroll it) maple leaf (face acc) - 5 dex earrings - 10 dex top - 7+ dex pirate pants - 17+ dex That alone is at least 69 dex, so you'd need 71 base to hit 140. The numbers obviously may vary, and if you need to, you could wear high level dex shoes before you get FS.
Ok, I am also kind of new in this, but I do have some advise. 1. Dont PQ - Ok, this may sound a little weird, but regular grinding (in my experience) can give you A LOT of money in just a couple of hours. In just 2 hours at Master Chronos, I got 5 scrolls for Helmet dex 60% which I sold for 10m each. Not to mention all the regular items you can just NPC away for an amazing profit compared to the regular Maple Global. Just doing this for one week got me a Zhelm, nice earrings and a pretty decent weapon. You should go for -40 to 45- Platoon Chronos (Gloves for att 60%) -45 to 50- Master Chronos (Helmet for dex 60%) -50 to 65- Coolie Zombies (Teeth and Power Crystals) -65 to 75- Voodos and Hoodos (Heartstoppers). 2. Dont buy nice clothes on the CS with the NX you recieve daily - If you are not funded, the best thing to do is save all your NX until you have 30k or so. Buy Gachapon (35) and use them all in Mushroom Shrine. Sell the scrolls in FM. 3. Buy Warrior Potions in NLC to give you a nice and cheap boost to your attack. 4. Scan FM for prices, you may sometimes find a good deal. Those are in the top of my head right now. If you have any question, just ask in the forum. Have fun

Welp, as people already said the sila´s NL Guide is your way to go. Thats a really dope guide tho, but anyway, as a Nightlord remember its the most fun and expensive class to play, dont even think about HP washing. U will at some point need to, but remember its a game and enjoy what the class has to offer to u. If u really wanna HP wash u gonna need a bish or a really tryhard NX selling. U can do it, but enjoy ur class. u picked one of the best ones.
