False Ban (closed but I still have a question)

Last thing I did: I was just sitting in Henesys

Why?: My brother lives in the same household as me, and he was hacking with his character, ( IGN:Atean). We do not share the same computer. I wasn't even in the same map or channel as him, and his account got banned. This lead to my account getting banned, I don't understand? I did not do anything wrong, I had no idea he was hacking, I had just introduced the server to him, and was not aware he was using a hacking program. I am asking for my ban to be lifted, but not my brothers. I understand he broke the rules, however, I did not break the rules whatsoever. That is why, I believe I should not have been banned for my brothers actions.

When people are banned, it's their ip + computer. Because you share the same internet, we cannot unban you without unbanning your brother. Sorry about this, but you will no longer be able to play from that internet :/

 

Is it possible for me to switch Internet IP and to be able to continue playing with my account? As in my account will be technically able to play from a different IP?

 

I believe you would be allowed to play if you were playing from a different location/ip and your brother never used your computer. However, I would need confirmation from one of our admins.

 

I will not be using his computer. Can we get a confirmation on that matter? I am ready on standby to use a different ip

EDIT: I am still having difficulty finding a way to use a different IP...Is there any other way for me to play? Any other way for my brother to get only his account banned? Or perhaps his one character deleted? He can provide info if needed.
