    Hi everyone,

    There will be a server check on Friday, March 7th, 2014 lasting approximately 15 minutes.

    It will start at:
    04:00 GMT (Server Time)
    And will end at:
    04:15 GMT (Server Time)

    Reason for Server Check:
    • Maple Road - A Split Road portal glitch fixed.
    • Battleship cooldown fixed.
    • Gun/Knuckle stimulator mob drops corrected.
    • RoyalTips fixed.
    • Boss certificates corrected to 100% drop-rate.

    Other updates include:
    • Female Hairstyle "Rae" added to both REG and VIP hair in Ariant
    • Male Face "Overjoyed Smile" added to VIP faces in CBD
    • Mu Lung Plastic Surgeon Pata now tells you to talk to his assistant Noma if you want to change your face. Previously, he just left you to wonder why he was only selling cosmetic lens coupons and not face coupons.
    • Typo corrected in Mu Lung Plastic Surgery Assistant Noma's dialog.

    There may be some other changes. if so, this message will be updated.

    Maybe the tips could be more frequent on Maple Island, for characters that are below level 10?

    Also putting Maple Island on 1x EXP rate (kills and quests) would be nice for people who actually want to do all the quests.
    Until they reach level 10, then EXP is back to 4x.

    I agree with making exp on Maple Island 1x for those below level 10 for the reason you state. Also, it would help to prevent multi-levelling from certain quests.

    I would greatly appreciate it if the maximum level restriction could be removed from the existing quests on Maple Island, speaking of.

    I think the tips should be less frequent. (Also noting that it would be more aesthetically pleasing if all the RoyalTips were the same colour - currently they are blue and yellow).

    Overjoyed Smile is suppose to be Showa EXP.

    Nice Boss Certificate fix!

    & regarding the 1x on Maple Island, I think that is too low and maybe 2x would be acceptable. (when below level 10)

    I'm just working off info from Basilmarket. If you know of an accurate list of what faces were available where in v.62, could you link me to it, please?

    gMS has a re-vamping, it used to be Ariant EXP (from Christine's memory).

    I think gMS changed some of the Face/Hairs so Basil Market isn't 100%, I would use bbb.hiddenstreet for hairstyles.

    OK, thanks Ty. Well, under the circumstances, all I can do is try to make sure that all the NPCs are coded and that all the faces from v.62-ish are available somewhere in one of the Plastic Surgeons. If I put anything in that's an EXP-only face, I'll make sure to list which NPC it's in when I've done the coding and post an update about it.

    Unfortunately, it's only Plastic Surgery NPCs which are uncoded, all the Hair Salon ones are done! T_T Thanks to both you and Christine for trying to help, anyway! =)

    Yeah Basil Market isn't reliable because it got revamped.

    We can't find the notice for the face re-vamp, but here is the hair one.

    The Yellow [RoyalTip]'s are the un-modifyable [MapleTip]'s from GMS. I was only able to change the [MapleTip] to [RoyalTip] in a client update a long time ago. There seems to be no way to completely remove these tips from the game. I wanted the real RoyalTips to stand out because, really... who reads the yellow ones?

    With that said... I'll try looking into a possible way of removing them again at some point.

    And regarding the time between the new [RoyalsTip]'s... I will probably look to increase them to 15 minutes each then, rather than 8 minutes. And find a way to make them more frequent for lower levelled players instead.
