Aha possibly get cpq2 again xD I just have so much fun in that part and am sad when I can't do it after lvl50
Couple things. @Matt Is there a reason why the Seed quest in Leafre is already completed? For those in the dark, there used to be a lengthy chain of turn in quests which required ETC from mobs around Leafre that would gradually lower the seed cost. Harp feathers, Red and Blue Dragon etc and Kentaurus Marrow were some commonly farmed ETC. I feel like having this already completed removes the ability of taking out meso from the economy since they cost like 300k a seed without doing any quests, and having the maps around leafre serve no purpose kind of sucks. I dunno i just felt like it was a grind I didnt mind doing. Also the Kentaurus maps are abysmal. The spawn on them is really really bad, and I dont believe they were ever bad maps to train on. I remember them being ok places to train at. Specifically Blue Kents. I remember farming Fairfrozens on my Bishop back in the day, and have full platforms of Kents to kill. Not 3 or 4 like there is on here.
By already completed do you mean that the seed price is as it would be if you had done the exchange quests? Or is there an already completed quest in your quest tab for it (I'm not sure if there is an actual quest for it)? I think I remember there being the option to exchange at some point in the past but I don't think it worked properly so was just removed. But that was like 2 years ago iirc.
The seeds are already as low as they can be, which is 30k. And no theres not actually a quest per say. You would just click on him, and it was like "do something for leafre" and you would turn in a stack of ETC and it would slowly, but gradually lower the seed price.
I think PQs in general should have increased exp or rewards so that going to grind alone at the corresponding training spot at that level would be foolish. At the same time, not so much exp that you level up too fast. I think most people would prefer PQs to grinding alone, and part of the reason I've never been able to get past level 80 is the lack of decent PQs at that level. Another thing I see is "rush PQs". For example for LPQ I see people going in only for the first couple of stages because apparently the time invested for the later stages is not worth the exp gained. For example, the guessing all the combinations stage takes forever - maybe doubling the exp gained for that? Incentives should be given to PQ, and stay for the entire duration of the PQ. Possible long term effects include longer player retention (people feel less isolated/bored because of PQs). These are more like gamer/behavorial psychology problems rather than programming issues, and for experiment it'd be interesting to measure the effects of these changes (for example, total number of PQs completed per day).
im not sure but doesnt the LPQ lacks the broken glasses reward? i think most people only do PQS because of exp but the equipment rewards like slime shoes and broken glasses just to name a few would drive people to actually do more pqs to get something special from it.(thats why stage rushing exist in LPQ i believe) personally i think slime shoes looked better than any cash shop cosmetic
I've been levelling several chars through the 3x-75 slump these last couple weeks and I have to say that nothing would discourage me as a new player as much as this chunk, especially 6x-75. I have tried as many alternatives as I could think of, yet nothing compares to what lmpq used to be. My problem isn't so much that these levels are difficult, more that these levels have little to no diversity in options available. Ghost ship 2 is not extremely fast in terms of levels per hour, but I haven't found anything that even comes close outside of ghost ship 1 or 5. I really like the idea of any buffs to the mu lung/herb town areas because I like those areas, and it would also possibly bring more people to pirate pq cuz they'd be in the area anyway. But I think almost any change to this bracket (outside of a straight ghost ship nerf) would be hugely beneficial. I also really like Plenty's list of potential changes.
