Hey guys I turned on my pc and a weird noise came from the cd drive than my pc froze. Than I rebooted it and again weird noise and than no boot i can't go to the bios or boot setup it loads the red bar and gets stuck at the alienware boot logo. This happens everytime my pc boots. Thanks for reading I hope you guys can help me!
sounds like a hard disk issue I used to have a similar problem, can't get past manufacturer's logo. Turns out it was because the hard disk became loose, probably due to knocking it.
hard disk failure would not (usualy) prevent him to go inside the bios since the bios itself isnt on the hard drive. So befor making him change diskdrive for maybe nothing lets dig up a little how old is the computer? is it a laptop or a desktop did you had a power outtage before this happened
He says "laptop" in the thread title. Not beeing able to load into the bios usually means theres a hardware problem. @Lumiose Are u sure the "weird noise" youre hearing is the cd drive ? Because there are beep tone combination for different error codes Beep Error Codes.
