Login Button Stuck - remake thread because waited 2 days for no response?

Issue: Cannot get past login screen - Possible MAC ban on account.
Character Name: HolyRice
Additional Information: Recently moved back home and realized I can't login, as the login button is stuck. I've been trying for multiple hours and still in search for a fix or response, thanks.

- I tried the troubleshooting guide but i could not find any other network adapters to disable
- I tried going to different wifi's and i was able to login - just not at home ... ?!?!
- I tried on my friends computers on different wifis and it worked
- I tried reinstalling the game, restarting my computer, etc
- Is there any information I have to provide, I have not been on for 8 days because of this issue!
- Possible solution: Can you ban me and unban me (someone on the chatbox told me this might work)

You are not banned in any way. Is there another computer you can try logging into the game with to see if it's an issue with the computer or your account?

 

I dont have access to another computer, but i know for a fact that i can login through different wifis, on different computers ( i tried my university, friends, and public places) and they all worked :/

 

Can you give me your IP address? The one associated with your forum account doesn't correspond to an ingame account. I'm wondering if the IP I was checking for a ban isn't actually the one you're using

 

That IP address is your local IP. Try a site like http://ipchicken.com which will give you your external IP

 

Yep, that IP is in no way banned. I'm going to see if any other staff have any other idea as I'm not sure what the issue is.

Do you have anything like Hamachi installed? Tried logging in through VMware maybe?

 

I do not have Hamachi installed, and I do not have enough space to install VMware, Im running on a Macbook Pro 13' and space is really limited for me! Also, MapleRoyals worked for me about a month ago when I tried at home.

 

I'm starting to think this is more of a technical issue, especially if you're able to connect through other wifi connections elsewhere. I'm going to move this to technical support forum and see if anyone can help you there, as it's something on your end not the server's end from what we can see. It looks to be something with your internet possibly.

 

I mean it worked before so i'm not sure ... I think its something like the server blocking my wifi cause other games/internet run smoothly

 

When you said you have tried different wifis and it worked, did you mean you were using the same physical computer to log in? A laptop perhaps?

If so, I'm thinking it could be your router's firewall.

Can you try resetting (not restarting but "resetting the settings") your router?
Normally to do that, open cmd >> type in ipconfig >> look for dns gateway (your router ip) >> and enter that address in your browser.

You should be able to access your router's gateway settings. You might need to enter your some credentials (doubt so).

Alternatively, some routers come with a "reset" button on the router itself. It could be a tiny button hidden inside a mini hole, and you have to use a needle to hold that down for a few seconds while the router is switched on.

Please make sure you know your router's default password, before resetting if you or someone else has changed it before. Usually it's attached to a label on the router, or it could be part of the serial number.

Hmm... Well to be honest I have no idea what would be causing this. I've searched the forums and it seemed like many others that had experienced this same problem had it solved by itself miraculously.

Perhaps you can try disabling your windows firewall and your anti-virus or windows defender? Although I doubt this will help, since you are able to connect to the loginpage/server.

Also, can you perhaps try fully uninstall mapleroyals, and redownload a fresh copy of mapleroyals installation file?
To fully re-install mapleroyals:
Uninstall Mapleroyals from control panel
Go over to the directory x:/Program Files(x86)/Mapleroyals and delete the folder (you can save your screenshots in another folder if you want).
Download CCleaner, clear up both your system/temp files and registry files,
Re-download a fresh copy of installation file and install.

Does not work I tried everything you told me. I think it's something to do with the server blocking my wifi lol

 

It worked after I downloaded another private server and played it for a couple hours LOL... what a solution, closing thread and deleting that other server
