so it's 7:30am and I haven't slept yet and I found myself thinking about the Disney princesses and I'd love a discussion Spoiler Belle's name means beauty and yet she's the princess who's constantly seeking knowledge. Is it because she's got the beauty and thus she knows that there isn't anything satisfying in looks alone? Is it because being beautiful does not equal stupidity*? Or maybe they can't have a princess just be brains so she had to also be beautiful? Tiana is incredibly underrated. As much as I find the magic on all the stories inspiring it doesn't equal the way Tiana worked hard for her dreams and therefore it happened. There's a line in 'Almost There' that reads: "Fairytales can come true You gotta make 'em happen It all depends on you" Which is totally how I personally work. Inspiring af. Once again on princess priorities, Flora blessed Aurora with the gift of Beauty and Fauna gave her the gift of Song (in the original Sleeping Beauty at least, they changed it in Maleficent iirc). I remember when I rewatched it last I was thinking a lot about the fact that the first thing Aurora was blessed with was beauty. I think in Maleficent they ignored the fact that Merriweather was supposed to weaken maleficent's curse and she got blessed by all three fairies but I can't fully recall right now! Speaking of Maleficent - it's amazing watch it if you haven't, also spoilers - I reallly do love that it's Maleficent's true love's kiss that wakes Aurora instead of Prince Philip's. True love can exist in so many shapes and forms <3. I think The Little Mermaid 2 is an amazing example of why you shouldn't let fear stop you from doing the right thing / whatever you want to do. They blocked the ocean with a wall and Melody found her way back because the heart wants what it wants. /end strange late night thoughts zzz *ty @Mandy for your thoughts xox

Do Disney video games count? I love them! Disney's Hercules, A Bug's Life, Donald Duck: Goin' Quackers, Mickey Mania: The Timeless Adventures of Mickey Mouse, Kingdom Hearts and many more that I've played. There hasn't been a single Disney game that I've disliked. The most recent Disney game I've played was Ducktales: Remastered (though I consider it more as a remake). Every single soundtrack on Ducktales: Remastered is amazing but I like "The Moon" and "The Moon (8-bit)" the best! Spoiler: Soundtracks
