Currently I believe trade tax is the only meso sink? This could be used in conjunction. A weekly lottery. How it works: Players buy 1 more more tickets from Frederick in the fm for x million meso. Each ticket has a lottery number, randomly generated. Every 7 days Frederick calls a winning ticket. The winning ticket is in titled to 10% of all meso in the pool or a minimum meso amount, 50m? Perhaps with new source we'll get donor metals but I feel this would help curb inflation.
I feel like with such a low proposed prize, no one would play. Also with a prize being given out, it kind of takes away from the idea of a meso 'sink'. The mesos are simply transferred to another player.
I just used 50m as an example. You'd be taking 450m out of economy. If 400 players bought 10 tickets @ 1m each that's a 400 prize and 3.6b taken out of the economy
IIRC The Medals themselves didnt have all that good of stats on them they were more for bragging rights than anything else. Eventually that wore off as time went on, and the donor medals basically werent bothered with after a while. The donor medals might need some kind of buff to them to actually have stats someone would want to keep paying for. Its not something I would ever go for, but the super rich might want the extra stats. And its their meso we want to take out of the economy more than anyone elses
They have good stats, the Sleepywood donor medal gives 10+ all stats. There are already meso sinks in the game, a lottery has been proposed before here
Yes the donor medals had very nice stats. Without royals godly system, they would be much more desirable. I'm curious to why that lottery system you posted was not implemented Andreas, it had 100 yes votes and 10 no. The lottery I'm describing is more so to benefit the economy as a whole, not the player base. It's some what ridiculous that having 1b+ isn't uncommon for the average player. This is because gach is a 4 day cycle, not p2w like in gms. The lottery I described is designed to remove me so from the economy, with the potential for reward. It's only flaw I guess is that if the ultra rich in royals don't partake but the poor do, then the divide will grow.
