Character Name: AhHiang Last thing you did: Training my bandit at Ludi Why do you think you got banned?: I can only guess because I received large amounts of mesos from another account. This player is a friend of mine that I met on exchange while in Europe. He invited me to join the game and told me he would fund my equipment. I can see why it appears suspicious and I'm aware that buying/selling of mesos is against the rules as written in the T&C but there was no cash transaction between us. Ban message when attempting to log in: Suspicious transaction What GM banned you (optional): TimK
I think it's highly suspicious that you received 7,6B meso over a couple of trades from someone that was actively hacking accounts with poor account security just because he wanted to give you some friendly funds.
I was unaware of how he had come into possession of the mesos and at that point of time I too thought it was an extremely large amount. But in a server where single items can go up to 10s of billions? It made sense that he was established as I knew he has been playing for a period of time. He was happy to give and I too was happy to accept. It was virtual currency, I didn't know it could have been flagged as suspicious.
You don't even speak to him in-game ever nor is he on your friendslist yet he gave you that amount of money in the course of 3 days, besides that you're displaying some more suspicious behavior in your charlogs for example: Code: Chatlogs/AhHiang/AhHiang 03-05/AhHiang.txt:03-05-2016 14:30:53 [To All] lets go fm | to: peester Chatlogs/AhHiang/AhHiang 03-05/AhHiang.txt:03-05-2016 14:31:03 [To All] do you have skype | to: peester Chatlogs/AhHiang/AhHiang 03-05/AhHiang.txt:03-05-2016 14:31:05 [To All] get on skype | to: peester Chatlogs/AhHiang/AhHiang 03-05/AhHiang.txt:03-05-2016 14:31:32 [Party] go on skype | to: peester Chatlogs/AhHiang/AhHiang 03-05/AhHiang.txt:03-05-2016 14:31:45 [Party] talk here | to: peester Chatlogs/AhHiang/AhHiang 03-05/AhHiang.txt:03-05-2016 14:31:48 [Party] oi | to: peester Chatlogs/AhHiang/AhHiang 03-05/AhHiang.txt:03-05-2016 14:31:50 [Party] party chat | to: peester Chatlogs/AhHiang/AhHiang 03-05/AhHiang.txt:03-05-2016 14:31:57 [Party] so many ppl | to: peester Chatlogs/AhHiang/AhHiang 03-05/AhHiang.txt:03-05-2016 14:32:01 [Party] around | to: peester Chatlogs/AhHiang/AhHiang 03-05/AhHiang.txt:03-05-2016 14:32:13 [Party] hmm i dont watn to let ppl see what we saying | to: peester Chatlogs/AhHiang/AhHiang 03-05/AhHiang.txt:03-05-2016 14:32:29 [Party] wanna jsut call ah | to: peesterr
I have never added any of his character because he finds me in various few and he doesn't seem to have any preference to any. If you can check, he was with me at GS2 about a few days back. I also mainly contact him through steam chat because we both play dota2 which irritatingly doesn't save my chat logs. But I do have some iPhone iMessage chat logs and I can show them to you if you want. Also, the reason I don't want to talk to peester online is because we are a couple irl and it's easier to communicate through Skype. You can check her IP address, it would show up on mine as well. We have also been whitelisted, we have pictures of both of us accessible to the staff. You can verify this with your colleagues if needed.
I checked your story regarding peester however receiving 7,6B meso from a hacked account still doesn't make sense. This person trafficed all the valuable items and meso around that he hacked from people with poor account security and sold various of them which must've taken a lot of effort. It's hard to believe he would do all this for nothing in return just because you met him somewhere and he wanted you to play with him.
I would like to clarify that I didn't just met him somewhere. He was my neighbour when I was on exchange in the UK for a year at the apartment I rented, though he wasn't going to Uni then, we hanged out a lot because we were both into games. I do not know what kind of lengths he went to to acquire the money but I can only say that it meant little enough to him to pass me some. I have spoken to him and he sees no point in speaking up here and I will not ask him to do so either. I have attached some of our message logs with details of our conversation prior to when he passed me money, I can also if necessary show you messages before/after the incident. I have cut those out in this screenshot as they were not relevant to the case, also because I don't wish to share my life with everyone. We further spoke on steam chat on the day where he told me where to meet him etc but unfortunately, I don't have the chat logs for those as steam doesn't seem to save my logs. Link to chat log: I can further prove that he is my friend through Facebook and it will show pictures of us up to at least 2 years back. Though I would like this to be the last resort as I'm uncomfortable with sharing my personal details to a stranger.
This has dragged on for almost a week now, I'm still unable to enter my account and there is still a lack of conclusion. I would like to reiterate that I'm not guilty, there isn't evidence to support the ban. I should be unbanned if the GMs aren't able to justify the ban, I don't understand how this can take so long to resolve.
You're banned under the suspicion of purchasing meso for real world currency, I based this on your trade and chatlogs. So far you have not been able to convince me that you weren't part of either your friends scheme to whitewash stolen items / meso or that you're not a customer of his service. The chats (evidence) you send here don't contain any useful information either, you're just saying that you need meso to some guy. I don't question that you have a friend somewhere that also plays royals with you, I question the fact that you received a large amount of meso from hacked accounts which took a lot of effort for the hacker to get. We know he was out to get real money for this, we even banned other people for purchasing from him. If you do have evidence that you don't want everyone to see you can private inbox to me. Keep in mind you don't have to send me pictures of you and your mate hanging out as it wouldn't provide any further evidence.
