Hey Royals! I just wanted to share a quick story with you. About five minutes ago, I was in the FM looking to buy AP resets up until a person traded me. During the trade, he said he had 5 AP resets, and to which I replied that I would buy all of them. Out of the blue, he told me if we could switch to a different channel. We did, and he led me into a random room. After that, he did the cutest thing ever. Without knowing that AP resets could be traded, he dropped all five on the ground for me. After he traded me, I then told him that AP resets are a trade-able item and proceeded to pay him 45m. I then found out that that had been his first time selling AP resets. I'm not posting this to brag about how "nice" and "considerate" I was to not run away with the resets. Shortly after the trade, I could tell he was so genuinely appreciative that I didn't cheat him out of his money. Being that he was a new player, that 45m would definitely help him in the long run to become a stronger player and to become more with the great community we have to offer here. Moral of the story: Remember to be kind to the people around you on this server. A small act of kindness can go a long way, especially for new players! Best of all, you feel really good doing it. note: this little shenanigan intrigued me so much that I just had to make a post about it haha
Regardless of normal or nice, it was the right thing to do, that's for sure. We all know that a lot of people can act differently to what they would in real life when sitting behind a computer. Therefore I approve this message.
It's a lovely little story. There's so many horrible people out there that would have taken advantage of that situation so it's nice to hear things turned out okay for the lil guy. Plus having had a positive experience it'll hopefully encourage him to be nice to people throughout his time here also
I hope more of the Royals community reads this thread. BE NICE. Two words, which if actually followed by more of the Royals community, could make this server even better than it already is!
Its funny that you mentioned this because I had a very similar experience buying AP resets from a new player. He put the resets up in a trade window and then hit accept trade before i put up mesos =P I told him not to do that again cause some people aren't so nice to pay anyways lol
