Nope, I posted that on behalf of Twibs, as we couldn't remember his forum account. Turns out he just had to use facebook login. Edit: I also don't see how that's relevant to this ban appeal. Can you at least explain to me why my hs mule has been banned? The ban message seems to imply that it has been hacked, which I can't tell if it was, due to it being banned. Your first question indicated to me that you thought the suspects of the hacking were the players: "CerzBbz and Twibs". However, due to your later remark, I feel that the question was completely unrelated. This leaves me wondering "What is preventing my account being unbanned?" The only difference I see between his ban message, and my own is the name. Mine had the name "fxteam" attached, whilst his had "dualeo". In his appeal your response was to inform him that his account had got hacked for low security, (while in the mean time informing the whole community that passwords are stored in plain text on your servers) and that (due to having low security on his account?) items wouldn't be refunded, however he would be unbanned. Compare that thread to this one. In this thread, you have provided no information to me regarding why my account has been banned, nor what the ban message means. You've asked me vague questions such as "Do you know Cerzbbz and Twibs?", and I'm currently just getting frustrated that this ban appeal is heading nowhere. I don't mind discussing CerzBbz and Twibs with you, but I don't see any relevance between, what looks like you accusing me of account sharing, and my mule being banned. Thanks, Cerz.
Recently a certain amount of accounts got hacked due to poor account security where their forum IDs, in-game IDs AND passwords were (near) identical. The hacker used several hacked accounts (fxteam being one of them) to traffic the stolen goods and meso around and attempted to sell them for real money. After getting banned on a few of these accounts that were hacked, the hacker tried to appeal the ban on fake/hacked forum accounts as well to get access to them again. This is why we take outmost caution with ban appeals related to the recent hacking case. We check your posting history on your forum account and ask you some questions regarding them to see if you really are the owner of the game AND forum accounts. Depending on your answers this can bring some more investigation towards your characters and accounts of course. For you this ended up in a suspected account sharing case. After checking your posts I asked if you knew CerzBbz and Twibs, you eventually replied that you aren't Twibs, yet there's log-ins from you on that account and character on the same computer at the same time you log in at CerzBbz. In some cases your mate logs out of Twibs and you log in on Twibs 2 minutes (and 42 seconds) later. Both CerzBbz and Twibs are now banned for account sharing
Few questions before I go and make this account sharing ban appeal. The ban message states permanent, website rules state first instance is a month. How long will they be banned for? Can I play my other accounts while they are banned, or is what ban evading is meant to protect? If yes, what's now preventing Adyth from being unbanned?
Account sharing bans are based on their severity and devided between a month or a permanent ban based on what has happened on the shared account. If the account has been used to make progress (by EXP or Meso/items for example) it's considered a heavy account sharing case where the punishment is a permanent ban. Whenever you're banned you as a person are not allowed to play on any of your accounts, this includes the account with Adyth on it.
