Hello, I am experiencing problems post patch that has never been a problem for me before the patch. Every time I attempt to start a boss fight, as soon as the boss is summoned and I fire a shot at it (hurricane), i am instantly disconnected with a crash to desktop with no error message. This has happened both at Krex and Zakum. As you can imagine this is quite frustrating, it can take time to assemble a boss party, and as I'm sure you know this game is quite unforgiving with DC's as it takes away a chance to fight the boss every time you leave the room. Also, I play a Bowmaster so I am letting my friends and guilds partys down by DCing due to lack of sharp eyes. Usually i would be able to troubleshoot this problem on my own by process of elimination, checking files, disabling AV, gfxing ect. but it is almost impossible to do this due to limited boss attempts. I have tried to ~gm in-game on both cases of this happening but have received no reply. Also this patch broke my Maplestory on my laptop by giving me an error about .sxe files which I was only able to fix by completely uninstalling my antivirus program (I tried disabling and creating exceptions for the program for both individual files and folder), I was running maple perfectly before the patch. This patch has destroyed my Maplestory. Quite simply I don't know what to do, i can no longer level my character through bossing. Can someone help me please? Edit: Also I just thought of something, i purchased the new NX wing effect (Sprite Wings) and had them on while summoning the bosses, could this be a cause? PS: During my Zak run another guildy crashed at exactly the same time as me running VM on his mac (windows parallel on windows 7) - (I also run windows 7) - He had no problems before the patch either.
I have been unable to run bosses since the patch as well. The issue is separate from what would normally occur if GFX wasn't altered and it would happen as soon as Zakum was summoned without any input on my part. EDIT: Running on Windows 8 and do not use VMware
